Super Rocks, Landlord is Meh

Pros:
The building is full of 25-30 year old kids who are loud on the weekends but quiet on the weeknights. The building doesn’t truly get that loud, the walls between apartments are thick (the walls within apartments are not so thick). The super is responsive on issues within his control, but anything further will take a long time. We haven’t seen ANY creepy bugs (knock on wood) and the exterminator will come as often as you want. We love this spot for these reasons!
Cons:
The price is way inflated for the space. The doors are hollow and the apartment is small. It hasn’t been updated in a while. You would think at the price of this place it would be nicer, but you really pay for the neighborhood. We had many issues out of the super’s immediate control that took MANY months to be fixed. The landlord has never answered a single email we have sent about issues in the apartment.
Advice to owner:
Be responsive to your tenants.
