Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenants of 130 Barrow Street praise the spacious duplex layout, washer/dryer convenience, and responsive landlord, emphasizing a safe and bug-free environment. While some mention repair delays, overall satisfaction is high. Residents value the West Village location, superb management, and friendly neighbors. However, issues with pests in lower-level apartments and challenging neighbors are highlighted. Accessibility to the subway is seen as a minor drawback. Some suggest pest control improvements for ground floor units. Despite varied opinions, the consensus leans towards recommending this building for its well-maintained amenities and prime location.

Hidden Gem Duplex
Former Tenant
Pros:
Loved how big the apartment was, washer/dryer is a huge perk, landlord was always polite and helpful, and the duplex style layout is a rarity in NYC. Felt very safe and secure, and didn’t have any issues with bugs, despite being on the first floor. The apartment complex is well maintained and the super is amazing and so kind.
Cons:
Repairs took awhile to complete

Fine for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
West Village and fairly spacious apartments for the neighborhood.
Cons:
Cons of first floor apartments (occasional cockroaches and mice). Neighbors at 130 Barrow St are insufferable and will complain about anything.
