Review Summary for 200 E 33 St
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
The building at 200 E 33 St offers a safe environment with friendly doormen, good management, and clean, bright apartments. Tenants appreciate the convenient location near Trader Joe’s and overall accessibility. Amenities like a gym and laundry room add value. However, occasional loud street noise, heating inconsistencies, and elevator reliability issues are noted. While pest control is generally effective, a few renters reported problems. The building is well-maintained but aging, with some complaints about old infrastructure and ongoing repairs. Responsive staff and management contribute positively, making it a recommended choice for many despite some location and maintenance drawbacks.

Loved living here
Former Tenant
Pros:
You get an incredible building for decently affordable prices, especially for those living with roommates. The doormen and staff in the building are so wonderful - I’m extremely sad to leave.
Cons:
Third Avenue and 33rd can be a bit dangerous and loud, so if you’re on a low floor, expect that commotion.

Elevators have gone through many ups and downs of repairs and being out of service.
