DO NOT MOVE HERE
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large apartments, great garbage management, good security, super is great
Cons:
your electric bill will be hundreds a month, during the winter it was upwards of $700 and in the summer no lower than $300, without heat or A/c you will never pay less than $200. This is why they charge so little for rent!! You will also be freezing in the winter!! Apartment never got above 65 degrees!! You will also have hot water for a max of 15 minutes, and you pay for every single second (something they do not disclose on the lease!!) Management is TERRIBLE and will give you an out of service phone number on your lease to contact them if needed. Agent who rented us this apartment is a liar!! Do not trust Ms. Tiboris!! Disgusting!! Living here was an actual nightmare!!

Charged an Extra Month Rent for Leaving on March 1
Former Tenant
Pros:
1. Affordable for the area
Cons:
1. Electric baseboard heat - my last month in the apartment (February), my heating bill was $415 for a 1 bedroom apartment, and the apartment never got warmer than 65 degrees.
2. Super is unresponsive on the weekend even for emergencies - I called the super on Friday at 2pm because the heat wasn't working. The apartment wasn't getting over 60 degrees. I called a few times and left a message. I didn't hear back from him until Monday morning. That's 4 days with broken heat in the middle of winter.
3. They did not return my security deposit because I moved out on the morning of March 1 instead of February 28.
Advice to owner:
The properly owner passed away several years ago, and the estate is being controlled by an executor/laywer.

Pros:
Responsive super, very clean building, nice neighbors, great location, elevator
Cons:
Thin walls, all electric (hot water tanks under the kitchen sink, so you can’t take suuuuper long showers)
