Very dirty and garbage control sucks

Pros:
Been living there for 6 months. Nice nyc features such as brick wall etc. appliances were stainless steel and new.
Cons:
Layout is narrow, walk-up, garbage management is the worst which leads to many rats on the entrance. There's no way to get packages, and landlord was non-responsive at all.
Advice to owner:
Clean the entrance more regularly and make sure super take out the trash. It brings pests.

Pros:
Apt had a New York stylish interior (brick wall in the living room) but that’s about it...
Cons:
Lived here for 6 months between in 2017. The worst was the poor pest control and garbage management- I used to come back home from school and find out that garbage is pilling up at ground floor. One time there’s literally a garbage mountain, that after two days turned into a rat colony and it was really scary to enter the building... management and landlord were unresponsive about that matter. Also the walls in the rooms are paper-thin; I could hear my roommate breathing next to me at night- and no, we didn’t sleep at the same bed. Luckily for my roommates and me it was just an interim apartment...
Advice to owner:
Hope that since we have left the building, garbage management and pest control got better. If not - take care of it.

There were plenty of young professionals in this building.
Cons:
Absolutely abysmal communication. Super did not reply. Heat was terrible.

Garbage everywhere, over heating, cockroaches, no sunlight.
Advice to owner:
Clean the garbage on the first floor and get better pest management.
