It’s cheap and in park slope
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent is pretty cheap. Location is good. Super lives in basement
Cons:
It’s a shitty old building. Units super small. Roaches. Super will just come into your unit at any time even if you’re going to the bathroom or naked in the shower. Had some very weird neighbors like elderly people with mental health stuff.

Solid Coop well maintained
Former Tenant
Pros:
They certainly don't make buildings like this anymore. It could survive a nuclear blast. Which means you don't hear anything from the neighbors. The live-in Super stays on top of the maintenance and trash. Elevator works. Biggest pro is the location: a block from Prospect Park and shopping. Great neighborhood.
Cons:
It's an old building. Everything works but could use an upgrade. It's fine.
Advice to owner:
Think about an interior facelift.

Cute older building
Former Tenant
Pros:
We lived in a small but nice apartment. Building super is a great guy. Laundry room was convenient, as was the elevator.
Cons:
We had carpenter ants, water leakage from upstairs neighbor and a mouse at one point.
Advice to owner:
Be proactive about the ants
