Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews of 43 Brooklyn Avenue reveal a mix of positives and significant challenges. The building offers modern, spacious apartments with appealing amenities like rooftop access, gym, and laundry facilities. Residents value the proximity to transit and friendly neighbors. However, management is widely criticized for poor responsiveness, neglecting maintenance issues such as mold, package theft, elevator malfunctions, and trash buildup, leading to pest problems and noise disturbances. Many renters advise improved tenant communication, enhanced building upkeep, and better security. While some appreciate the building's features, frequent management shortcomings and maintenance delays diminish the overall living experience.

Don’t do it!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice, updated apartments
Cons:
Terrible management—hard to get in touch with, once you get in touch they will gaslight you and refuse to fix issues. Entire building is riddled with mold, even the pipes. DONT MOVE HERE.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants like humans

First Tenants To Live in 2F
Former Tenant
Pros:
New building (when I moved in), spacious, near the subway, laundry in the building, rooftop elevator access, car parking
Cons:
Management is unresponsive and will avoid responsibility at every turn, regular package theft, maintenance waits until the 11th hour to do anything (there was a horrific black mold infestation that management ignored for months), neighbors left trash and pet feces in the parking lot, front of the building and roof, management will occasionally leave piles of trash in the parking lot which attracts rats
Advice to owner:
Take better care of the property and be more attentive to your tenants. The degradation of this building was sad to see.
