Decent building but unit requires renovations
Former Tenant

just look elsewhere…
Former Tenant
Pros:
exposed brick in unit’s, dishwasher, exterminator every second Saturday of the month (sometimes).
Cons:
majority of the tenants that reside here have been here for a LONG time (some even having weird personal relationships with people in management), not that it’s an issue but when your packages are being taken into someone’s apartment to be “held” for you without your permission, constantly fighting and yelling, cops being called (especially during the summer), and the “guest” in which they have over are almost ALWAYS nasty creepy old drunk men you’d be annoyed as well. management constantly changes its name and is notoriously unresponsive… if you have plans on getting in contact with them for any apartment issue you might as well look into doing to yourself. if you are a young woman planning to live alone do NOT live here if you have young daughters who travel by themselves often do NOT move here it’s NOT that safe of an environment for you or them. the building is not clean..there are stairs that are broken and some have been “replaced” not even decently the tiling in the halls are terrible some of them being mismatched..you don’t have any in unit laundry either, the rent in which they ask you to pay is not worth it, it’s just them being greedy, yeah the area is nice but look at literally any other building. also don’t move in expecting to move into a rent stabilized unit all the rent stabilized units that are actually paying stabilized rent prices have been occupied for maybe 20+ years so expect to pay “normal” rent in your stabilized unit for yelling and screaming, fighting and a grown drunk man passed out, on the outside of his door at 2am. additionally you can forget the “safety” of the building because anything that can keep the building door open will be put in between the door no matter the time of day/night and no matter how many times you remove it. this isn’t even half of what goes on in this building… it’s not worth it please don’t move here and save urself the trouble. !!!!!
Advice to owner:
get better management! changing the management name and having the same people working there is not solving the problem! also pick up the phone and answer our emails! just do better !

Over run by cockroaches!!!!!!! Found them in my bed. Management company was unresponsive and refused to address any concerns.
