Worse than it looks
Pros
Location is stellar, neighborhood is nice and building is surrounded by amazing cafes and restaurants.
Cons
Everything else. Garbage for the whole building is a little plastic rolling trash can from Home Depot. The stairs are crooked, uneven, and unsafe. The apartments are above a deli and roaches come out and play in the apartments above every night. Everything is dirty.
Advice to the owners
Invest in good repairs and renovations. Every time some cheap thing around the building/apartment breaks, something even cheaper is installed instead. Then it breaks/fails almost immediately and needs to repaired/replaced again. Spend a little money for the right supplies that will last.
