Terrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near subway and local shops, cvs, supermarket, restaurants and retail stores
Cons:
Terrible management, terrible super, stolen packages and robberies in building, neighbors do not carpet and building says they can not enforce. 2 tenants have passed away in less then 3 months. One tenant dead for 2 months and super did not bother calling police even though smell was awful and mail was piled up outside of apt. Broken tiles, old kitchens and bathrooms and expensive rent. Building managed by owners son who is rude and a slum lord. Rent will go up almost 30% after your lease is up. They do not care if you leave or not because they will paint and raise the rent astronomicaly. It is so sad this building could so so much better if it was not for the management.
Advice to owner:
Please stop being a slumlord and manage your building better. Stop being cruel to tenants. Do something about broken intercom. I can not have people over because of the conditions inside of the apartment. Basement is disgusting. Is that asbestos or lead in the bathrooms?
