Cons:
Elevator always down, claim to (c) openigloo have a live in super (c) openigloo but the super doesn’t live (c) openigloo in the building (his family (c) openigloo does) and is totally unresponsive. (c) openigloo Poor response to any maintenance (c) openigloo requests, pest issues, etc. Management (c) openigloo is belittling and clearly does (c) openigloo not care. You’re on your (c) openigloo own if you live here (c) openigloo even if there’s a safety (c) openigloo issue.

Cons:
Saw mice and cockroaches far (c) openigloo too often. Thank god for (c) openigloo Home Depot around the corner (c) openigloo to get an electric mouse (c) openigloo trap. Additionally, we had major (c) openigloo heat issues.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive and fix the heat
Comfortable spot in the middle of Kips Bay

Pros:
Great super after 2 that (c) openigloo were not very helpful. Solid (c) openigloo management who is pretty responsive. (c) openigloo Great neighbors as well, everyone (c) openigloo is friendly.
Cons:
A bit of a pest (c) openigloo problem that they are constantly (c) openigloo working on, but new super (c) openigloo has it more under control. (c) openigloo Heating is pretty aggressive in (c) openigloo the winter.
Advice to owner:
Need cameras in the package area or a better system when packages arrive. Have had multiple packages stolen over the last couple of years.

Cons:
BUGS, Heat is super inconsistent.

The super was very nice, (c) openigloo although she definitely liked me. (c) openigloo It has an elevator (c) openigloo which is nice, even though (c) openigloo it's slow. The apartment (c) openigloo itself is a good layout (c) openigloo with a pretty decent bathroom (c) openigloo and kitchen.
Cons:
The heat is unbearable. (c) openigloo My AC had a thermostat (c) openigloo attachment and my apartment was (c) openigloo never below 82 degrees, whether (c) openigloo my AC was running or (c) openigloo it was the dead of (c) openigloo winter. The lobby of (c) openigloo the building is fully glass, (c) openigloo so all of the packages (c) openigloo can be seen from the (c) openigloo street. I assume this (c) openigloo has something to do with (c) openigloo why so many of my (c) openigloo packages were stolen that I (c) openigloo started shipping them to a (c) openigloo friend's apartment. Management was (c) openigloo completely unhelpful when I would (c) openigloo reach out to them about (c) openigloo better security. I even (c) openigloo found out they have a (c) openigloo camera and they still wouldn't (c) openigloo do anything about it!
Advice to owner:
Do a better job of listening to and acting on your tenant's legitimate complaints, rather than ignoring them and then expecting them to pay a higher rent every year.
Management unresponsive, old building

Super and porter are ok. (c) openigloo Super tends to ignore your (c) openigloo call but will get back (c) openigloo to you eventually
Cons:
Building manager is a lost (c) openigloo cause. Does not respond or (c) openigloo take any action. There's a (c) openigloo family on the second floor (c) openigloo that's extremely loud and leaves (c) openigloo their door open when they (c) openigloo cook. Some of the apartments/neighbors (c) openigloo are still using fuses instead (c) openigloo of a circuit breaker panel (c) openigloo which shows you how old (c) openigloo the wiring is
Advice to owner:
Clean the hallway/stairs more often. Bring the building to the 21st century with video doorbells.
