Cons:
Garbage area was quite bad (c) openigloo (restaurant on the first floor (c) openigloo led to many rats). Dealt (c) openigloo with mice and roaches in (c) openigloo the apartment. Air conditioning/heating units (c) openigloo (one per bedroom, none in (c) openigloo living area) made electric bill (c) openigloo pretty expensive

-bad trash management -dirty / not (c) openigloo well maintained common area / (c) openigloo entrance -poor responsiveness from bldg management (c) openigloo / maintenance; issues not fixed (c) openigloo properly / repeat issues -packages frequently (c) openigloo stolen -door locks frequently broken / (c) openigloo tampered with; not a secure (c) openigloo building (key has gotten stuck (c) openigloo in front door of building, (c) openigloo entire lock cylinder has fallen (c) openigloo out of building front door, (c) openigloo been locked in my apt (c) openigloo unit due to bad lock) -very (c) openigloo poor water pressure and water (c) openigloo temperature regulation (takes 10+ minutes (c) openigloo to get warm water some (c) openigloo days)
Advice to owner:
-keep building cleaner and manage trash better -complete maintenance requests more promptly and thoroughly -fix doors / locks more comprehensively - keyless entry system doesn’t prevent door from being tampered with entry/exit issues (also might prevent packages from being stolen as frequently) -fix water pressure and temp issues

HVAC units in both (c) openigloo bedrooms but nothing in the (c) openigloo living room and old windows (c) openigloo that leak cold air in (c) openigloo all three spaces. Because the (c) openigloo landlord doesn’t have to pay (c) openigloo electric, HVAC makes the heat (c) openigloo bills upwards of hundreds per (c) openigloo month. • Lack of or (c) openigloo extremely delayed response from landlord (c) openigloo for issues outside of heat, (c) openigloo including pests, low water pressure, (c) openigloo leaking pipes, and broken appliances. (c) openigloo • Consistently stolen packages with (c) openigloo no follow-up or action from (c) openigloo landlord. • No super on (c) openigloo premises despite what was promised (c) openigloo at lease signing.
Advice to owner:
Do your job and reply to tenants with actual concern and action.

Electric heat units that do (c) openigloo not work, are only in (c) openigloo the bedrooms (nothing in main (c) openigloo area), and rack up monthly (c) openigloo bills worth hundreds of dollars. (c) openigloo On top of that, no (c) openigloo response from the “live-in” super (c) openigloo who does not live here (c) openigloo or anyone from Douglas Elliman. (c) openigloo We were in the middle (c) openigloo of a noreaster and our (c) openigloo apartment was in the low (c) openigloo 50s and no one came (c) openigloo to help us. The super (c) openigloo for the last month just (c) openigloo says he’s “working on it” (c) openigloo when you get him on (c) openigloo the phone then ghosts until (c) openigloo the next call where he (c) openigloo says the same thing again. (c) openigloo Neighbors say it has been (c) openigloo like this for years.
