Dirty and Poorly Fixed Up

Pros:
There is no laundry in building, but there is a laundromat a block away. Very nice view, lots of great food around it.
Cons:
The apartment wasn’t cleaned before we moved in. The bathroom is absolutely disgusting no matter how much we clean it. Peeling tub. Mold. Stained toilet. Broken floor tiles in the kitchen

Horrible management company, great location and space

Pros:
Spacious apartment Great location to trains, restaurants, bars, etc.
Cons:
Our apartment got robbed because the management company gave people keys to our apartment without our consent. They stole jewelry and Loyola. ZERO trash maintenance. Roaches were a regular sighting.
Advice to owner:
Be better. You had zero regard for your tenants.

Expensive For No Reason

Pros:
It is centrally located in midtown. Tons of restaurants and theatres in walking distance. Very close to many train lines (A,B,C,D,E,N,Q,R,W,1 trains). Close to Central Park.
Cons:
Building is rarely clean. Garbage management is a nightmare. Rats in the basement with the garbage make it terrifying to go in there. Management is hard to reach when it comes to maintenance. Staircase is never cleaned. Dirty floors.
Advice to owner:
Keep building clean. Fix rat issues.

Homeless people stand outside 24/7

Pros:
The interior is clean.
Cons:
Homeless people stand at your door step every day and all day. Landlord doesn’t respond to contact. It’s freezing in the back of the apartment because there is only one thermostat In the front. So loud. Fire trucks sit at intersection because it’s busy with sirens going.
