Apartment was pretty newly renovated (c) openigloo but had roaches and bed (c) openigloo bugs. Building management did nothing (c) openigloo to help. Had to move (c) openigloo out

Roaches, the water temperature is (c) openigloo terrible. Always either freezing or (c) openigloo way too hot.
What you'd expect from an NYU dorm

Pros:
Overall, this was a good (c) openigloo place to live. The rooms (c) openigloo were a very decent size (c) openigloo for manhattan, the neighborhood was (c) openigloo safe, and the location was (c) openigloo incredible.
Cons:
There were a good amount (c) openigloo of roaches during my time (c) openigloo there, and not a lot (c) openigloo of help managing them besides (c) openigloo advice to buy roach traps. (c) openigloo It was also very expensive.
Advice to owner:
I would suggest being more proactive about managing roaches, although I understand this can be difficult. I also think NYU dorms are priced very high for what they are, but I doubt the building owner can affect university policy.
Great super but pests

Super and his assistant are (c) openigloo really responsive. If you need (c) openigloo something fixed they do it (c) openigloo really quickly.
Cons:
Pests are just too much. (c) openigloo There is monthly extermination but (c) openigloo it isn't as effective as (c) openigloo I would like. Also kitchens (c) openigloo are pretty old and in (c) openigloo need of an upgrade.
Advice to owner:
Find a better solution to pest problems. It would make the building a much more comfortable.

Superintendent and porter were responsive (c) openigloo and attentive
Cons:
Management company is horrible and (c) openigloo landlord is nonexistent. It took (c) openigloo 3 weeks to be approved (c) openigloo to rent. Entire duration of (c) openigloo our lease, the management refused (c) openigloo to change the range even (c) openigloo though at least 15% of (c) openigloo the range top was visibly (c) openigloo rusted. They continue to advertise (c) openigloo the laundry room as new (c) openigloo even though it has been (c) openigloo several years and the quantity (c) openigloo washer/dryers is significantly undersized for (c) openigloo the amount of units. When (c) openigloo we moved in we witnessed (c) openigloo former tenants complaining about not (c) openigloo receiving their security deposits after (c) openigloo moving out so we were (c) openigloo careful to maintain the apartment (c) openigloo and document everything. During the (c) openigloo pandemic when buildings were offering (c) openigloo discounts on lease renewals, they (c) openigloo raised the rent. We decided (c) openigloo to move and now more (c) openigloo than 5 months after we (c) openigloo moved out we still have (c) openigloo not received our deposit. Do (c) openigloo not recommend a move to (c) openigloo this building under any condition.
