Great place to live if your looking for pre-war walkups

Super is nice, didn’t have (c) openigloo much experience with building management, (c) openigloo but they seemed on top (c) openigloo of everything. For a 100+ (c) openigloo year old building, it’s pretty (c) openigloo solid if you're used to (c) openigloo pre-war buildings. Layout is nice (c) openigloo and spacious for the city. (c) openigloo Neighbors are nice and no (c) openigloo complaints. Reasonable rent increases for (c) openigloo a market rate unit (didn't (c) openigloo ridiculously jack my rent up (c) openigloo after the covid deal). You (c) openigloo seriously can't beat nearby restaurants/stores/trains/parks.
Cons:
My unit is street facing, (c) openigloo and the windows didn’t really (c) openigloo do much help protect the (c) openigloo noise from busy 3rd ave. (c) openigloo You have to have a (c) openigloo high tolerance of car/traffic noise. (c) openigloo Nighttime was pretty quiet and (c) openigloo you do get used to (c) openigloo it after a while. I’m (c) openigloo sure there are a lot (c) openigloo worse places for noise though. Also, (c) openigloo there were a couple days (c) openigloo of no hot water and (c) openigloo it sucked. Things happen though

I am not sure why (c) openigloo the incorrect address shows up (c) openigloo on openigloo. My review is (c) openigloo for The Andrew Jackson Condominiums. (c) openigloo Great community, most of the (c) openigloo staff is friendly.
Cons:
They charge you so much (c) openigloo for things that may or (c) openigloo may not be working at (c) openigloo any given time: use of (c) openigloo the elevator when moving, the (c) openigloo laundry machines, the pool was (c) openigloo under construction the entire time (c) openigloo I lived there. My mailbox (c) openigloo was also broken the entire (c) openigloo time.

the application process was a (c) openigloo bit of a nightmare, and (c) openigloo the authority figures weren't all (c) openigloo that attentive but it was (c) openigloo always clean and cozy

not much but good memories (c) openigloo there. everyone kept to themselves (c) openigloo for the most part

Safe, quiet neighborhood. Responsive super (c) openigloo for the most part. Elevator, (c) openigloo gym and laundry.
Cons:
Extremely cheap finishes. Paint chipping (c) openigloo and mold/water damage in closets. (c) openigloo Intercom system doesn’t work in (c) openigloo some units. Cracks in ceiling. (c) openigloo Low water pressure. Management doesn’t (c) openigloo respond quickly to issues.
Advice to owner:
Stop raising rent when there are so many issues to the apartments

Building gave all units on (c) openigloo the corner side of the (c) openigloo building space heaters for 6 (c) openigloo weeks while they make repairs (c) openigloo and aren’t offering any rent (c) openigloo discounts. Space heaters cost a (c) openigloo LOT of electricity to run (c) openigloo and management refused to pay (c) openigloo us for this additional electric

Pros:
I loved this apartment and (c) openigloo the building. It was very (c) openigloo well kept and the super (c) openigloo was amazing.
Cons:
The property manager was entirely (c) openigloo unresponsive. The owner also was (c) openigloo very difficult. However a new (c) openigloo owner took over April 2023 (c) openigloo and is wonderful.
