Centipedes, ants, due to poor (c) openigloo caulking. Wooden floorboards could be (c) openigloo improved. Garbage management can be (c) openigloo regulated better. Sometimes trash divers (c) openigloo come and leave the garbage (c) openigloo area a mess

Occasional roaches, the people above (c) openigloo us would keep us up (c) openigloo from 5am-11pm every day & (c) openigloo night with constant stomping and (c) openigloo running. We couldn’t keep glasses (c) openigloo too close to each other (c) openigloo in cabinets bc they would (c) openigloo chip. We had cracks in (c) openigloo the ceilings from all the (c) openigloo commotion above us. The bathwater (c) openigloo constantly came out brown bc (c) openigloo the buildings plumbing was so (c) openigloo old. One time a pipe (c) openigloo burst on the top floor (c) openigloo and it leaked all the (c) openigloo way down to the lobby. (c) openigloo All they did was pop (c) openigloo the water bubbles in the (c) openigloo walls and paint over it (c) openigloo which lead to a fruit (c) openigloo fly infestation in our bathroom. (c) openigloo It was the best feeling (c) openigloo leaving that building.

Just burn the building down & start over

Cockroaches are going to be (c) openigloo present in the building in (c) openigloo every unit until they gut (c) openigloo it. Totally unfixable without major (c) openigloo intervention. Mice! (: Upstairs neighbor’s shower (c) openigloo had a hole in the (c) openigloo tiles (which they had tried (c) openigloo to get management to fix (c) openigloo for months, to no avail) (c) openigloo and we first reported leaking (c) openigloo in January, in June the (c) openigloo ceiling ruptured and a giant (c) openigloo hole of mold and dripping (c) openigloo water went unresolved for months. (c) openigloo They do not care about (c) openigloo you in this building. We (c) openigloo couldn’t shower there without having (c) openigloo mold rain down on us (c) openigloo for months. Super and management (c) openigloo did not care whatsoever. Clearly (c) openigloo preying on rent stabilized tenants (c) openigloo who are stuck in the (c) openigloo units due to the affordability, (c) openigloo and using this as an (c) openigloo excuse to be negligent in (c) openigloo taking care of the property. (c) openigloo This building is owned by (c) openigloo A&E which is a HUGE (c) openigloo company with a team of (c) openigloo lawyers, if you try to (c) openigloo take them to small claims (c) openigloo they will send their attorneys.

Do you understand that human beings, just like you, are trying to live safely in this building? Do you care?

Terrible neighbors who trash common (c) openigloo areas , don’t clean after (c) openigloo themselves in laundry room and (c) openigloo complain and harass over (c) openigloo ring camera. Super doesn’t (c) openigloo clean enough

Horrible horrible horrible management, no (c) openigloo elevator, no responsiveness or responsibility (c) openigloo taken by the ownership whatsoever. (c) openigloo Dirty halls, consistent package theft, (c) openigloo outdated intercom system. Washer dryer (c) openigloo room disgusting and hasn’t works (c) openigloo for months.

Have some sort of communication system with your tenants!

The building is close enough (c) openigloo to the train to be (c) openigloo convenient , but far enough (c) openigloo away to be quiet. It's (c) openigloo on a central thoroughfare and (c) openigloo is close to laundry, grocery, (c) openigloo parks and a library. Most (c) openigloo of the residents here are (c) openigloo respectful, conscientious and friendly. I (c) openigloo actually know everyone on my (c) openigloo floor and we look out (c) openigloo for each other.
Cons:
The plumbing is old. Not (c) openigloo all of the apartments have (c) openigloo been renovated. I've had the (c) openigloo most leaks into my apartment (c) openigloo than I have ever had (c) openigloo in my whole life. Some (c) openigloo residents feed the pigeons, so (c) openigloo they roost in the alley (c) openigloo and compete with the mice (c) openigloo for food. The mice attract (c) openigloo stray cats which howl in (c) openigloo the alley.
Advice to owner:
Listen to your tenants when they complain. Return their emails and you may save a small problem from becoming a big one.

Management allowed a contractor to (c) openigloo blowtorch lead paint which led (c) openigloo to a 5 alarm fire (c) openigloo displacing all 450 tenants. This (c) openigloo was the icing on the (c) openigloo cake of many habitability issues.
