Solid, unique, well-laid out building

Pros:
Location is fantastic. One of (c) openigloo the most vibrant blocks in (c) openigloo Manhattan. At least for the (c) openigloo upper units on the B (c) openigloo side, great light. Layout with (c) openigloo hallway between units gives relative (c) openigloo isolation. Cleaner than your average (c) openigloo LES walk-up building.
Cons:
The apartments are relatively well (c) openigloo insulated from each other, but (c) openigloo my room faced Allen St (c) openigloo and was quite loud with (c) openigloo traffic, intercity bus stations, early (c) openigloo morning loading, and a fire (c) openigloo station around the corner on (c) openigloo Canal.

Cons:
Tall ceilings = high heating (c) openigloo bills over the winter Can be (c) openigloo a little loud (traffic from (c) openigloo the BQE)

Beautiful apartments with high ceilings
Cons:
Most unresponsive landlord in NYC. (c) openigloo No matter what the emergency (c) openigloo is, they will always move (c) openigloo slowly and try to buy (c) openigloo themselves time. The lobby is (c) openigloo constantly dirty and even though (c) openigloo we were promised a door (c) openigloo person we haven’t had one (c) openigloo in over a year.

Pros:
Relatively new building. Solidly built, (c) openigloo can't hear neighbors when in (c) openigloo apartment, no pest problems that (c) openigloo I'm aware of. Neighbors all (c) openigloo seem friendly for the most (c) openigloo part.
Cons:
Elevator breaks often, other issues (c) openigloo that building related are slow (c) openigloo to be resolved. Some of (c) openigloo the neighbors smoke cigarettes indoors (c) openigloo and it crosses apartments in (c) openigloo the hallways and air conditioning.
Advice to owner:
Address indoor cigarette smoking and be quicker to resolve elevator issues. Living in the higher floors with no elevator is not possible for the elderly or those with kids or if someone is injured.
