Fair rent prices. Before moving (c) openigloo in, I requested updated stainless (c) openigloo steel appliances and the installation (c) openigloo of a dishwasher, which they (c) openigloo did with no extra cost (c) openigloo to rent. An incredibly reasonably (c) openigloo priced 1 bedroom apt for (c) openigloo the neighborhood and safety, cleanliness (c) openigloo of the building. Balcony with (c) openigloo excellent view. Perfect for young (c) openigloo couples.
Cons:
Hallways are a bit worn (c) openigloo down. No doorman. Have to (c) openigloo buzz in delivery people/ visitors (c) openigloo twice due to security system. (c) openigloo Elevators can be slow.
Advice to owner:
Can we get a code for our door??

(c) openigloo No signs of any pests, (c) openigloo mold, or defective construction. Nice (c) openigloo high ceilings and big windows. (c) openigloo Heating and cooling are reasonable. Cons:
EXPENSIVE but not unusually or (c) openigloo uniquely so given the location.

Never really see homeless (c) openigloo etc. -dogs allowed on case (c) openigloo by case basis -live in super, (c) openigloo he's a nice guy but (c) openigloo also kinda rude sometimes. -locked package (c) openigloo room -roof deck -they let you drill (c) openigloo holes in the walls, as (c) openigloo long as you patch up

There is only one washer (c) openigloo and dryer. Often have to (c) openigloo wait to use because they (c) openigloo are already in use. If (c) openigloo you are sensitive to noise, (c) openigloo this apt is not for (c) openigloo you. Especially if you’re street (c) openigloo facing, you can hear everything. (c) openigloo Walls are also thin and (c) openigloo you can hear neighbors. There (c) openigloo are stairs to walk down (c) openigloo to the front door of (c) openigloo the building and often there (c) openigloo are random people that don’t (c) openigloo live in the building just (c) openigloo sitting there at all hours (c) openigloo of the night. There were (c) openigloo a few instances where I (c) openigloo felt uncomfortable walking to the (c) openigloo front door. Nothing happened but (c) openigloo it definitely made me nervous. (c) openigloo Exterminator comes 1x per month (c) openigloo but have had a few (c) openigloo roaches and have gnats flying (c) openigloo around and have set up (c) openigloo traps

Insulate the walls and buy more washing machines.
Super isn’t great, management is somewhat better

Quiet building, near the river (c) openigloo and close to the park. (c) openigloo elevator always works.
Cons:
packages got stolen often. management (c) openigloo would say to file a (c) openigloo police report and wouldn’t do (c) openigloo anything else. the super also (c) openigloo didn’t really seem to care (c) openigloo and would do the bare (c) openigloo minimum of anything asked

Put cameras in that actually work so people can feel comfortable getting packages sent there

Convenient location. Neat 2 and (c) openigloo 3 floor apartments. Nearly renovated (c) openigloo apartments. Value for the moneys (c) openigloo decent. Comes with a lot (c) openigloo of frustration though. Cameras are (c) openigloo installed in the lobby as (c) openigloo of 2023.
Cons:
59th at bridge traffic gets (c) openigloo backed up in front of (c) openigloo the building daily. It’s loud. (c) openigloo Elevator breaks once a month. (c) openigloo Water stops running at least (c) openigloo once a month. Plumbers said (c) openigloo landlord won’t properly fix the (c) openigloo pumps. Hot waters often not (c) openigloo working. Many layouts don’t have (c) openigloo adequate air flow. There’s often (c) openigloo package theft, even with cameras. (c) openigloo The door intercom was upgraded (c) openigloo but it’s garbage. People ring (c) openigloo it and it stays on (c) openigloo a black screen half the (c) openigloo time and beeps. Switch to (c) openigloo a modern mobile app please.
Advice to owner:
Stop being cheap with the small repairs, spend the money to replace what’s broken. Replace the intercoms.

My heat didnt work in (c) openigloo my apartment for 6 months. (c) openigloo My landlord fixed it only (c) openigloo after I threatened to call (c) openigloo 311. Then my landlord sent (c) openigloo someone into my apartment without (c) openigloo my permission to fix something (c) openigloo and they left the door (c) openigloo open to my apartment and (c) openigloo my diamond earrings were stolen. (c) openigloo I would like monetary compensation (c) openigloo for both losses. Elevator didnt (c) openigloo work - people got stuck (c) openigloo in it and they didnt (c) openigloo fix it for over a (c) openigloo year. They ghosted my emails and (c) openigloo didnt provide any compensation for (c) openigloo the damages. FYI there is (c) openigloo plenty more, just not enough (c) openigloo time to write it out
