Terrible landlord, crap management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Charming apartment, quiet neighborhood, okay price
Cons:
Landlord took 2 months to fix hot water and heat. Before that pipe work had been done with no permits so we've been living in danger of a gas leak for who knows how long
Advice to owner:
Manage the building properly

Landlord is not great
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighborhood is perfect. Apartment layout is what I need.
Cons:
This landlord is not really up for the job. They blame the building age on not being up to code and in the past have used unlicensed contractors any chance they could. They will offer to release you from the lease the first chance you complain as though that absolves them from from things. They will also cite their limited resources as a small landlord as an excuse. Broker ends up helping with property management. Have heard male landlord yelling at other tenants. While relatively responsive to other maintenance, I would not recommend.
