Hot water issues and unresponsive management

Pros:
The building is fairly nice (c) openigloo with many nice neighbors, is (c) openigloo conveniently located by two subway (c) openigloo stops, the sunlight is fantastic, (c) openigloo renovated apartment, nice windows. (c) openigloo The super is great and (c) openigloo incredibly helpful.
Cons:
Hot water is an incredibly (c) openigloo frustrating issue. Seems like (c) openigloo there is always a problem (c) openigloo with the boiler. On average (c) openigloo it lasts about 5 minutes (c) openigloo but is lukewarm most of (c) openigloo the time and is often (c) openigloo lower than body temperature. (c) openigloo The heat is automatically set (c) openigloo based on the temperature outside (c) openigloo so the apartment is cold (c) openigloo between 45º-68º. When this (c) openigloo happens it affects how hot (c) openigloo the water is. The (c) openigloo management company was contacted about (c) openigloo the hot water issue about (c) openigloo 5 times in the first (c) openigloo 6 months but they failed (c) openigloo to respond after the first (c) openigloo two messages. The sound (c) openigloo outside is pretty unbearable as (c) openigloo there is a constant party (c) openigloo directly below the windows. (c) openigloo Packages are often stolen from (c) openigloo the lobby. Bedrooms are (c) openigloo small with little storage.
Advice to owner:
Replace your boiler and respond to complaints

Unresponsive Management

Management is awful. Currently (c) openigloo no gas in building, it’s (c) openigloo been two months.Packages get stolen (c) openigloo out of a package room (c) openigloo with cameras and management won’t (c) openigloo address it. Management won’t (c) openigloo respond at all. Also, (c) openigloo reoccurring black mild issue.
Advice to owner:
Treat the building like you live here.

The lobby is very nice, (c) openigloo and so is the package (c) openigloo area/mail area. Apartments are generally (c) openigloo spacious and well kept up.
Cons:
HUGE PEST ISSUES. Rats in (c) openigloo the toilet. I repeat, rats (c) openigloo in the toilet. Problem was (c) openigloo fixed, and then came back. (c) openigloo Lots of roaches that come (c) openigloo up from where they keep (c) openigloo the garbage in the basement. (c) openigloo They do not keep up (c) openigloo with pest control.
Advice to owner:
Get exterminators in waaaaay more often. This is a health hazard.
Nice building, but certainly not luxury

The building appeared very nice, (c) openigloo and the apartment was (mostly) (c) openigloo well updated - stainless steel (c) openigloo appliances, a 5-burner gas stove, (c) openigloo new toilet. The management (c) openigloo company was also very good (c) openigloo about communicating out when water (c) openigloo would be turned off for (c) openigloo repairs and when elevator maintenance (c) openigloo was scheduled.
Cons:
They did not handle pests (c) openigloo all that well. We have (c) openigloo German cockroaches in our kitchen, (c) openigloo from the drain and dishwasher. (c) openigloo It took multiple requests (c) openigloo to get an exterminator to (c) openigloo come to the apartment and (c) openigloo treat the apartment regularly.

Cons:
Management is awful!! Packages are (c) openigloo constantly stolen but management does (c) openigloo nothing to improve the situation. (c) openigloo There are cameras in the (c) openigloo package room but Management is (c) openigloo so unresponsive, that packages are (c) openigloo continuously stolen.

Respond to emails from tenants!!

Cons:
Whoever did the renovations cut (c) openigloo a lot of corners - (c) openigloo some things just weren't done (c) openigloo right. Our super was great and (c) openigloo responsive, but management was not. (c) openigloo It was like pulling teeth (c) openigloo to get ahold of the (c) openigloo people directly responsible for our (c) openigloo building if we needed anything

Cons:
Super and management don’t communicate (c) openigloo and are hard to get (c) openigloo in touch with.
Advice to owner:
Allow more direct communication to property owner rather than just through super.
