Reviews

Overall great !
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lovely neighborhood , clean (c) openigloo
Cons:
Older people . Complain all (c) openigloo the time
Don’t do it unless you have to
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, marble steps, neighbors are (c) openigloo trustworthy
Cons:
Pest control is bad! Rats (c) openigloo and roaches all over. No (c) openigloo elevator on a 5 story (c) openigloo walk up. We had a (c) openigloo dead person in one of (c) openigloo the apartments for 2 weeks (c) openigloo and management did not listen (c) openigloo to the multiple comply of (c) openigloo a foul smelling odor due (c) openigloo to that. Neighbors also have (c) openigloo a bunch of unkept pets (c) openigloo that gas drinker up the (c) openigloo building and management does not (c) openigloo care.
Advice to owner:
Listen to your tenants and fix the garbage situation so it does not bring rats and roaches please
Good building; unresponsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, new building, there’s (c) openigloo in building laundry and gym (c) openigloo and a bike room. There’s (c) openigloo a package room. It’s very (c) openigloo sleek looking, has a roof (c) openigloo deck, central air, elevator - (c) openigloo just a very new building
Cons:
Electricity bills can be very (c) openigloo pricey. Sometimes up to 400 (c) openigloo dollars per month. Sometimes packages (c) openigloo get stolen. Even though it (c) openigloo has in unit central air, (c) openigloo bc everything is powered by (c) openigloo electricity it can get expensive (c) openigloo to run the AC or (c) openigloo heater. Lastly Managment is very (c) openigloo hands off - they don’t (c) openigloo necessarily care about tenants, they’re (c) openigloo just more interested in profit (c) openigloo margins. They only seem to (c) openigloo reach out when they want (c) openigloo to tell tenants not to (c) openigloo do something
Advice to owner:
Show your tenants, especially the ones who have been there for a while, a little more appreciation. Instead all our interactions feel more like a business interaction. For example, I was fortunate enough not to have to ask for a rent reduction for covid reasons, but I feel like if I did ask for a rent reduction they would probably be very corporate/non-flexible
Luxury building in East Williamsburg
Former Tenant
Pros:
Gym & washer/dryer in building. Furnished (c) openigloo patio for guest in the (c) openigloo 4th floor. Killer view of the (c) openigloo city on the 12th floor (c) openigloo (unfurnished).
Cons:
Egregious Energy Bill! The building (c) openigloo is new and everything is (c) openigloo electric, so prepare for your (c) openigloo energy bill to be in (c) openigloo the hundreds or dollars/person/month. Trash (c) openigloo everywhere along the street/front doors (c) openigloo of the building. Trash pickup (c) openigloo between 2/3AM - if you’re (c) openigloo a light sleeper, you’ll likely (c) openigloo hear it.
Advice to owner:
Find ways to lower the energy bill - everyone in my floor was angry by how much we were charged. Examples: Lower the water heater temp by a few degrees Replace bulbs with power efficient ones
