You Don’t Want to Live Here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent is affordable.
Cons:
Landlord has no interest in (c) openigloo resolving issues or addressing building (c) openigloo concerns. Recently there has been (c) openigloo a squatter frequenting the building. (c) openigloo Tenants have asked him to (c) openigloo install cameras and reinforce locks (c) openigloo on the doors. He, however, (c) openigloo has been unresponsive to all (c) openigloo requests and is disinterested in (c) openigloo accommodating tenant welfare. He refuses to (c) openigloo turn heating up until freezing (c) openigloo temperatures and has no sense (c) openigloo of respect for tenants. There (c) openigloo must be some kind of (c) openigloo issue with the hot water (c) openigloo as there are periods in (c) openigloo which the water temperature becomes (c) openigloo freezing cold despite being on (c) openigloo the hottest setting. The walls are (c) openigloo quite thin, so if you (c) openigloo are unfortunate enough to be (c) openigloo stuck with rude neighbors, you (c) openigloo may be woken up in (c) openigloo the middle of the night (c) openigloo by shouting matches or agressive (c) openigloo stomping. Additionally, it would be wise (c) openigloo to brace yourself for the (c) openigloo occasional roach or mouse. If you (c) openigloo have any other options, please (c) openigloo choose that instead. You don’t (c) openigloo want to live here.
Advice to owner:
• respect the tenants • address building concerns • install surveillance & reinforce locks • prioritize safety of tenants
