Homeless people repeatedly breaking in (c) openigloo and entering the building. Building owners (c) openigloo unwilling for years to provide (c) openigloo adequate front door security.

There’s NO management in this (c) openigloo building. I guess because half (c) openigloo of apts are rent stabilized, (c) openigloo so the owners doesn’t give (c) openigloo a shit about it. No (c) openigloo or Low heat in 24/7, (c) openigloo fallen apart and unsanitary conditions (c) openigloo in a public area of (c) openigloo building.
Advice to owner:
Sell the whole building to whom actually able to take care of it

- If your windows face (c) openigloo the street, it can get (c) openigloo very noisy sometimes (but not (c) openigloo always) - Management seems more interested (c) openigloo in lipstick projects than meaningful (c) openigloo changes (replaces interior decor of (c) openigloo elevator while the elevator itself (c) openigloo continues to break down repeatedly (c) openigloo over next year, replaces washing (c) openigloo machines but hardly ever repairs (c) openigloo the new ones when they (c) openigloo break down which is often, (c) openigloo etc.) - Building manager is pretty (c) openigloo awful. Expect pinny pinching on (c) openigloo heat (to the point where (c) openigloo you'll need to call 311), (c) openigloo lying to or ignoring tenants, (c) openigloo etc. Fired a previous super (c) openigloo who regularly went out of (c) openigloo his way to help tenants. (c) openigloo Often 24 hours communication or (c) openigloo less (or none) of major (c) openigloo events like interruption of water, (c) openigloo etc. - Dirty water (especially hot (c) openigloo water if someone else above/below (c) openigloo you is running theirs too) - (c) openigloo Laundry room has been largely (c) openigloo non functional for a long (c) openigloo time now (it takes months (c) openigloo for service to be called (c) openigloo when washing machines and dryers (c) openigloo break down - as I (c) openigloo write this all washers and (c) openigloo dryers except one of each (c) openigloo have been out of order (c) openigloo for close to four months)
Advice to owner:
Take a hard look at your building manager. Make meaningful changes, not just projects to make it pretty for potential renters. Put in a better door/intercom system.

Maintenance is almost not existent. (c) openigloo We have the guy from (c) openigloo next door who only comes, (c) openigloo if he shows, after hours (c) openigloo or sends someone else to (c) openigloo look but not actually do (c) openigloo the repair. Damage can (c) openigloo be left for months without (c) openigloo repair. He also plays favorites (c) openigloo with the tenants somewhat in (c) openigloo a discriminatory manner (c) openigloo Rat problem with pockets of (c) openigloo rat feces in walls and (c) openigloo other spots. Packages are (c) openigloo left in hall so can (c) openigloo go missing. They promo as (c) openigloo a 'Luxury Building" but have (c) openigloo no amenities. Heat and hot (c) openigloo water go out a few (c) openigloo times a year. Tenants tend (c) openigloo to move out in a (c) openigloo year or less if the (c) openigloo pay full price. Security is (c) openigloo not good as the buzzer (c) openigloo is always broken so tenants (c) openigloo let everyone in-- if you (c) openigloo have children this could be (c) openigloo concerning.
Advice to owner:
Get a better handle on the maintenance staff, both in the building and at the main company. It actually cost more not fix things then just to repair right away. And do a quality job when repairing - come and check the work to see that either you are not getting what you pay for or you are just doing a poor job.
