THE HEAT DOES NOT WORK (c) openigloo IN THE WINTER.. YOU WILL (c) openigloo BE MISERABLE. I had to (c) openigloo call 311 several times and (c) openigloo eventually move to a friend's (c) openigloo place to stay for a (c) openigloo while. Also: rats in the (c) openigloo units, VERY loud neighborhood (the (c) openigloo windows do not block any (c) openigloo noise whatsoever!!), appliances don't work (c) openigloo properly, response rates from the (c) openigloo management are not great and (c) openigloo the super who comes to (c) openigloo fix things doesn't speak a (c) openigloo word of English which can (c) openigloo be tough, move-in date was (c) openigloo pushed back 3 days... every (c) openigloo day they said it would (c) openigloo be done and I could (c) openigloo move in the next day (c) openigloo but then I would go (c) openigloo and it was STILL not (c) openigloo even repainted yet. This caused (c) openigloo me to become homeless for (c) openigloo a few days and cost (c) openigloo me over $1000 for having (c) openigloo to cancel the movers last (c) openigloo minute twice!!! Also, when I (c) openigloo finally moved in there were (c) openigloo wiry pubic hairs painted into (c) openigloo the walls and bugs also (c) openigloo painted against the walls with (c) openigloo dust - there was no (c) openigloo cleaning done before I moved (c) openigloo in.
Advice to owner:
take better care of your tenants and the apartments: turn on the heat when it's cold and don't be cheap, HAVE THE APARTMENTS READY ON MOVE IN DAY, pest management (they never reply to anyone's complaints seriously), update windows because some of them don't even shut all the way, update appliances, have apartments cleaned before painting them for next tenant so no bugs, dust, and hair painted into the walls!

The roof view is amazing, (c) openigloo but you cannot even make (c) openigloo it nice because the neighbors (c) openigloo will just steal/trash any furnishings (c) openigloo you leave there. The location (c) openigloo is convenient if you’re an (c) openigloo active young person, but now (c) openigloo the area is getting very (c) openigloo touristy and giving midtown vibes.
Cons:
The building is quite literally (c) openigloo infested with bed bugs, cockroaches (c) openigloo and rats. The building smells (c) openigloo like dead rats constantly, it (c) openigloo is absolutely filthy and the (c) openigloo landlords are the prime definition (c) openigloo of “slum” lords and will (c) openigloo do absolutely nothing about it. (c) openigloo They will not cover the (c) openigloo cost for an exterminator either. (c) openigloo They will send someone who (c) openigloo has no idea what they (c) openigloo are doing and are probably (c) openigloo family members of the landlord (c) openigloo and the rodents/insects always come (c) openigloo back until you hire your (c) openigloo own professional exterminator. Their handymen (c) openigloo that they send for any (c) openigloo issues are extremely under qualified (c) openigloo and you will need to (c) openigloo hire someone to fix it (c) openigloo yourself. The landlords have no (c) openigloo regard for basic human sanitation (c) openigloo and will tell you to (c) openigloo move if you don’t like (c) openigloo jt. The price is not (c) openigloo worth it. Save yourself the (c) openigloo headache and horror.

Wonderful location, a true 1-bedroom (c) openigloo layout, lots of closet space (c) openigloo and a nice bathroom
Cons:
Awful and unresponsive management (no (c) openigloo super). Dirty and smelly lobby (c) openigloo (trash room is disgusting and (c) openigloo rats commonly rummage through it). Mice (c) openigloo in the sink cabinet and (c) openigloo rats in the walls/ceiling. Very thin (c) openigloo walls and loud neighbors. Heat was (c) openigloo turned on way too far (c) openigloo into the cold season and (c) openigloo turned off too far in (c) openigloo to the warm season. Walls need (c) openigloo to be maintained and the (c) openigloo entire building needs a huge (c) openigloo facelift truthfully (water stains in (c) openigloo walls from leaks, etc). NO BUZZER… (c) openigloo IN 2022? Stolen packages.
Advice to owner:
Get a super. Get a buzzer. Maintain the building and have it CLEANED once in awhile. Have management that don’t shrug off concerns about mice and rats in the units. Have management that actually want to help tenants.
