Pros:
Great location, one block away (c) openigloo from the park and near (c) openigloo major commerce. The building staff (c) openigloo is top notch, and will (c) openigloo go out of their way (c) openigloo to aid the residents. Finally, (c) openigloo the building is very tastefully (c) openigloo decorated, with wood paneling in (c) openigloo the lobby/elevators and marble entrance (c) openigloo floors.
Cons:
Building garden is largely unusable (c) openigloo - loud AC vents make (c) openigloo it too noisy to use (c) openigloo in the summer, too cold (c) openigloo in the winter. The building’s (c) openigloo location on the corner of (c) openigloo Columbus Avenue also attracts some (c) openigloo noise, mainly ambulances and truck (c) openigloo driving down the street.

I can not recommend this (c) openigloo building LESS. That being said, (c) openigloo the street is super cute, (c) openigloo in a good location with (c) openigloo easy access to the best (c) openigloo parts of Chelsea. My unit (c) openigloo had amazing natural light.
Cons:
Avoid this building at all (c) openigloo costs! There are MAJOR plumbing (c) openigloo issues in this building, and (c) openigloo the building manager, who provides (c) openigloo zero help whatsoever, is the (c) openigloo rudest person I have ever (c) openigloo interacted with. On multiple occasions, (c) openigloo I came home to really, (c) openigloo really disgusting sewage all over (c) openigloo my floor. (Picture this happening (c) openigloo when you expect to be (c) openigloo able to shower the morning (c) openigloo of a big meeting at (c) openigloo work, and you suddenly cannot. (c) openigloo Or, when you’ve invited a (c) openigloo new friend or person you (c) openigloo are dating over for the (c) openigloo first time. Yeah, not fun.) (c) openigloo On multiple occasions, there (c) openigloo was no hot water (completely (c) openigloo ice cold), or no running (c) openigloo water at all, with zero (c) openigloo notice. When this happened, the (c) openigloo building manager refused any sort (c) openigloo of rate abatement or quick (c) openigloo fix, and would tell me (c) openigloo to “stay with a friend (c) openigloo for a few days.” Having (c) openigloo no running water or access (c) openigloo to any sort of bathroom (c) openigloo (because you can’t get past (c) openigloo the sewage on the floor (c) openigloo without professional waste cleaners) for (c) openigloo long periods of time is (c) openigloo not worth the cute apartment (c) openigloo and neighborhood. Unless you can (c) openigloo make do with a chamber (c) openigloo pot and bottled water on (c) openigloo a regular basis, do not (c) openigloo even think about living here.

The unit is furnished and (c) openigloo there is a garden. There (c) openigloo are many units being rented (c) openigloo out in this building. Mine (c) openigloo was on the fourth floor, (c) openigloo so beware of the owners (c) openigloo here. It’s also in a (c) openigloo good neighborhood, but considering the (c) openigloo other options available, it’s not (c) openigloo worth it.
Cons:
It’s greatly overpriced. It’s a (c) openigloo five-floor walk-up building and many (c) openigloo of these condos are owned (c) openigloo and then rented for a (c) openigloo significantly higher price. The unit is (c) openigloo not in great condition. The (c) openigloo apartment is extremely old and (c) openigloo decaying. There were water bugs (c) openigloo in the bathroom and mosquitos (c) openigloo all in the room. The (c) openigloo doorknob of the bathroom fell (c) openigloo off several times. The paint (c) openigloo was peeling off. The heater (c) openigloo is broken. The unit is (c) openigloo dirty as well. My experience with (c) openigloo renting from Orly Benun, the (c) openigloo owner of Apartment 4B was (c) openigloo extremely unpleasant. She is extremely (c) openigloo invasive, rude, and violent after (c) openigloo acquiring whatever money she needs (c) openigloo form you. There were a (c) openigloo multitude of issues including being (c) openigloo extremely restrictive in what utilities (c) openigloo you can use, and the (c) openigloo owner also attempts to invade (c) openigloo your privacy by browsing through (c) openigloo your belongings. She also makes up (c) openigloo charges to leverage the costs (c) openigloo onto you — very cheap (c) openigloo and manipulative, along with extremely (c) openigloo unpleasant. I terminated the contract early (c) openigloo because she was so unpleasant.
Advice to owner:
I would just forget renting from this owner.
