Pros:
Our apartment is great. Victor, (c) openigloo the super, is responsive and (c) openigloo always answers our calls (he (c) openigloo lives in the building too). (c) openigloo We've never had a bug, (c) openigloo rat, etc. issue. Heat and (c) openigloo air works well. Our apartment (c) openigloo was recently remodeled and nothing (c) openigloo has broke during our lease. (c) openigloo Our unit faces away from (c) openigloo 9th avenue, so it's not (c) openigloo loud at all. We also (c) openigloo like the area given there (c) openigloo are so many restaurants on (c) openigloo 9th avenue within walking distance.
Cons:
Only con I can think (c) openigloo of is that both dryers (c) openigloo in the buildings' shared laundry (c) openigloo space didn't work well for (c) openigloo a few months. They didn't (c) openigloo get super hot and you (c) openigloo would have to pay for (c) openigloo two cycles in order to (c) openigloo fully dry your stuff. The (c) openigloo dryers have both since been (c) openigloo replaced / fixed.

The location is very nice.
Cons:
The super (and his wife) (c) openigloo are deranged people. They are (c) openigloo the only ones allowed to (c) openigloo use the laundry in the (c) openigloo basement and they don't take (c) openigloo care of the building. The (c) openigloo stairs are always disgusting they (c) openigloo pick up the trash whenever (c) openigloo they want to and they (c) openigloo will take about two weeks (c) openigloo to do something that needs (c) openigloo fixing. They have sole access (c) openigloo to the security cameras but (c) openigloo claim they don't record so (c) openigloo they can't help you if (c) openigloo your package goes missing. One (c) openigloo time the super Jimmy entered (c) openigloo my apartment when I wasn't (c) openigloo there - he claimed it (c) openigloo was necessary but they decide (c) openigloo what is deemed necessary. Pray (c) openigloo you never need to call (c) openigloo them because they are horrible (c) openigloo people.

Change the super!

There’s a dog in the (c) openigloo building over that will not (c) openigloo shut up.

Cons:
The super and his family (c) openigloo are very difficult to deal (c) openigloo with. They are rude and (c) openigloo not particularly willing to assist (c) openigloo with common problems in apartments. (c) openigloo Even if you are a (c) openigloo quiet, good tenant, it is (c) openigloo difficult to establish a relationship.
Advice to owner:
Keep to yourself and pay your rent on time! Don’t expect much from your Super.

Newly updated, clean, well maintained (c) openigloo building, responsive super
Cons:
Landlord and his assistant do (c) openigloo not respond until they need (c) openigloo something. Extremely rude and belittling (c) openigloo from day of lease signing (c) openigloo to move out 3 + (c) openigloo years later.
Advice to owner:
Due to maintenance and cleanliness of unit would have loved to move to smaller unit in building or another of your buildings but attitude and unresponsive-ness from office ultimately forced me into another building
