Reviews

Glad I don’t live here anymore
Former Tenant
Pros:
Best street in LES
Cons:
The management here was no (c) openigloo bueno. Was it the worst (c) openigloo ever? No. Am I so (c) openigloo glad I don’t have to (c) openigloo deal with the cockroach infestation (c) openigloo or the management who is (c) openigloo rude and never get things (c) openigloo done? Yes!
Advice to owner:
Get your BS together
140 Orchard St, Manhattan NY 10002
Former Tenant
Pros:
-great location — close to (c) openigloo the subway and to lots (c) openigloo of restaurants/bars/clubs -never felt unsafe at (c) openigloo night because it was always (c) openigloo so lively -apartment unit itself was (c) openigloo very nice, W/D in unit, (c) openigloo sizeable living room, and lots (c) openigloo of natural light
Cons:
-management is unresponsive -sometimes the garbage (c) openigloo room overflows — even though (c) openigloo the trash is taken out (c) openigloo regularly, people just have too (c) openigloo much of it -since this building (c) openigloo is in the heart of (c) openigloo LES, there will be a (c) openigloo decent amount of noise -steep stairs
Great Community, Terrible Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The Lower East Side is (c) openigloo incredible and the location is (c) openigloo probably the biggest sell for (c) openigloo this apartment.
Cons:
Dirty building, terrible management, vomit (c) openigloo in the stairwell for two (c) openigloo weeks and management did nothing, (c) openigloo constant issues with our unit (c) openigloo and months long response time (c) openigloo from management, rude and careless (c) openigloo staff that runs the building.
Advice to owner:
If you are going to charge people the ridiculous amount that you are, you need to treat your building better and hire better people to manage your property. Good people are being driven out.
Loud but good neighbors and responsive landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good neighbors, good area, good (c) openigloo landlord.
Cons:
Loud, street is dirty.
The Landlord and the Super are horrendous
Former Tenant
Pros:
None at all besides the (c) openigloo cool neighbors. they are chill
Cons:
The landlord at this property (c) openigloo is the most unreceptive landlord (c) openigloo ive had in 25 years (c) openigloo of living in nyc. The (c) openigloo Refuse to help during the (c) openigloo terrible heat problems and are (c) openigloo trying to jack up the (c) openigloo rent over 55% of what (c) openigloo it currently is.
Advice to owner:
I hope you have some good faith and realize how terrible a human being you all are
Pretty average building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Gets really good light (even (c) openigloo rear facing units), not a (c) openigloo ton of units so it (c) openigloo never feels busy/crowded, bedrooms are (c) openigloo big for NYC
Cons:
Walls are thin/floors are EXTREMELY (c) openigloo creaky, building is generally just (c) openigloo old and not especially well (c) openigloo kept. It's not like there's (c) openigloo trash lying around but there's (c) openigloo a lot of structural changes/reno (c) openigloo that could be done.
Bad management and unclean
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location and inexpensive
Cons:
Noise, mice, structural problems with (c) openigloo water in ceilings
