Pros:
Location is incredible! Layout was (c) openigloo great and so well priced (c) openigloo for a shared apartment.
Cons:
There is clearly a yearslong (c) openigloo roach infestation that has carried (c) openigloo over from tenant to tenant (c) openigloo which no one discloses when (c) openigloo you’re signing the lease (not (c) openigloo a shocker of course). While (c) openigloo the landlords (a family owned (c) openigloo building) are nice and responsive, (c) openigloo all they ever did was (c) openigloo send a half-assed exterminator that (c) openigloo never solved the issue. We (c) openigloo never left food our, kept (c) openigloo everything so dry and were (c) openigloo too afraid to really cook (c) openigloo or use the dishwasher lest (c) openigloo we bring on more bugs (c) openigloo and still they would pop (c) openigloo up.
Advice to owner:
Fix your bug issues, based on other reviews here you haven’t done so in years.
Amazing Location; Mediocre Everything Else

Pros:
This building is located in (c) openigloo the lower east side and (c) openigloo is close to so many (c) openigloo amazing dining options & leisure (c) openigloo time options. The area can (c) openigloo be kind of tight knit, (c) openigloo you know or at least (c) openigloo know of some of your (c) openigloo neighbors.
Cons:
The building shares a corridor (c) openigloo with a Thai restaurant and (c) openigloo an Indian restaurant. The garbage (c) openigloo disposal area is a shared (c) openigloo space between 2 restaurants and (c) openigloo the apt building. The garbage (c) openigloo space is very small and (c) openigloo allows for rats and mice (c) openigloo to get into the building (c) openigloo and therefore into the apartments. (c) openigloo There is an apartment that (c) openigloo is not taken care of (c) openigloo and will therefore have bedbugs (c) openigloo and roaches and mice coming (c) openigloo out of the apartment. Beware (c) openigloo if you’re close to apt (c) openigloo 9! The landlord is not (c) openigloo involved at all; everything is (c) openigloo taken up by the super (c) openigloo which can lead to issues (c) openigloo taking weeks/months to be rectified. (c) openigloo The water pressure is decent. (c) openigloo Heat is normally blasting in (c) openigloo the winters. No roof access (c) openigloo & no elevator. Small spaces; (c) openigloo high rent.
Advice to owner:
Be more involved with this building. I understand you have a bunch of buildings to make money on and a law office to run, but you need to be aware of the issues happening in the building.
