Reviews

Poop on cieling and bad elevators
Former Tenant
Pros:
Men at front desk and (c) openigloo worker men in building very (c) openigloo nice
Cons:
Poop on the ceiling. Elevators (c) openigloo always broken. All bathroom in (c) openigloo gym and sky lounge always (c) openigloo close. Many people smoking cigarette (c) openigloo and marijuana in building. Television (c) openigloo in lounges always broken. Too (c) openigloo much construction inside and outside (c) openigloo building. My face cream go (c) openigloo missing.
Advice to owner:
No more poop on ceiling and very expensive for old building
Good building - eh management
Former Tenant
Pros:
A lot of amenities, clean, (c) openigloo doorman, good location
Cons:
Management is difficult and sometimes (c) openigloo rude
Nice place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean and responsive mgmt
Cons:
Leasing office is hard to (c) openigloo work with, rent increases by (c) openigloo $500+ per month per year
Worst Management Employees
Former Tenant
Pros:
The staff are amazing, most (c) openigloo of the doormen are great.
Cons:
Management is horrendous. They are (c) openigloo rude and condescending.
Advice to owner:
Management training
Great Building...but the construction around is ruining it
Former Tenant
Pros:
Front desk staff is amazing, (c) openigloo always happy and super helpful.
Cons:
The surrounding construction is making (c) openigloo living here such a terrible (c) openigloo experience. We went through weeks (c) openigloo we did not have access (c) openigloo to the front entrance, and (c) openigloo now we have to go (c) openigloo through the ridiculous maze. A (c) openigloo lot of issues with deliveries (c) openigloo and Ubers because of the (c) openigloo construction; we have multiple canceled (c) openigloo food and grocery orders because (c) openigloo the drivers cannot find the (c) openigloo building, or doesn't want to (c) openigloo come through the construction site. (c) openigloo Honestly can't blame them, it (c) openigloo is terrible.
A great place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is mostly young (c) openigloo people and young families so (c) openigloo it is a pretty nice (c) openigloo scene. The building has good (c) openigloo amenities and the building owners (c) openigloo are responsive to requests. All (c) openigloo the front desk men are (c) openigloo super nice too and always (c) openigloo give a nice hello and (c) openigloo good morning.
Cons:
Amenities on a different floor (c) openigloo can be inconvenient at times
Advice to owner:
none
Building Staff Amazing, Management Awful
Former Tenant
Pros:
The front door men & (c) openigloo maintenance staff are angels. Incredibly (c) openigloo responsible and helpful, even in (c) openigloo a building with tenants that (c) openigloo make it feel like a (c) openigloo college dorm.
Cons:
Management. Raising rents insane amounts (c) openigloo without making any fixes to (c) openigloo the apartments that warrant those (c) openigloo rents.
Overall good place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doorman, clean, laundry in building, (c) openigloo no pests
Cons:
Management is hard to get (c) openigloo a hold of and disorganized
Advice to owner:
Better building property management
Perfect early 20s apartment building
Former Tenant
Pros:
doorman building, good amenities, close (c) openigloo to so many subways
Cons:
expensive, need to share with (c) openigloo several roommates
Great for your early 20s!
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is full of (c) openigloo people right out of college (c) openigloo who are flexing their units (c) openigloo to make it affordable (which (c) openigloo can be a pro or (c) openigloo con depending how you view (c) openigloo it). If you are also (c) openigloo in this category it is (c) openigloo great, because the building is (c) openigloo accommodating of it and it (c) openigloo can be nice to live (c) openigloo amongst peers. It definitely gives (c) openigloo you the opportunity to live (c) openigloo in a luxury apartment that (c) openigloo you might not otherwise have. (c) openigloo The maintenance staff is fast (c) openigloo and they are very nice. (c) openigloo MOST of the doormen are (c) openigloo very helpful. The building is (c) openigloo clean. The views in the (c) openigloo 2 apartments I had were (c) openigloo incredible. The closets are spacious. (c) openigloo The appliances are updated and (c) openigloo everything is remodeled. Duane Reade (c) openigloo is right downstairs. Overall it (c) openigloo was a very positive experience.
Cons:
Most of Cons are not (c) openigloo a big deal or are (c) openigloo just more circumstantial. I didn't (c) openigloo love living in FiDi, but (c) openigloo that may not be the (c) openigloo case for you. It just (c) openigloo felt dark and cold to (c) openigloo me since it isn't very (c) openigloo residential compared to other neighborhoods. (c) openigloo By the time I hit (c) openigloo 25, it felt like it (c) openigloo was time to move on (c) openigloo as new waves of 21 (c) openigloo year olds moved in. When (c) openigloo you live on the higher (c) openigloo floors, you have to switch (c) openigloo elevator banks to go the (c) openigloo laundry room which is just (c) openigloo a slight inconvenience. Some of (c) openigloo the doormen can be a (c) openigloo little rude at times, but (c) openigloo I also understand they have (c) openigloo to deal with a lot (c) openigloo from tenants. I don't really (c) openigloo have much else negative to (c) openigloo say about 200 Water.
