Essentially nothing. The hardwoods were (c) openigloo nice to look at until (c) openigloo we were forced to cover (c) openigloo them completely with carpets, felt (c) openigloo pads, and rubber mats to (c) openigloo appease a downstairs neighbor who (c) openigloo claimed us walking around was (c) openigloo too loud.
Cons:
Watch your step, there are (c) openigloo cockroaches everywhere in public areas. (c) openigloo They are dead from the (c) openigloo chemicals sprayed everywhere but you (c) openigloo never know with them. Samson (c) openigloo Management dodged me for over (c) openigloo two months after the supplied (c) openigloo refrigerator broke and they didn’t (c) openigloo replace it for almost 3 (c) openigloo months. Not to mention we (c) openigloo were never compensated for this (c) openigloo insanity nor did they ever (c) openigloo acknowledge the unbelievable number of (c) openigloo calls and emails we sent (c) openigloo them regarding this issue. Simultaneously, (c) openigloo we had cockroaches inside our (c) openigloo apartment which even after numerous (c) openigloo attempts to resolve the matter (c) openigloo with the super and the (c) openigloo management company, the best they (c) openigloo would do was put us (c) openigloo on the list of apartments (c) openigloo to be sprayed in a (c) openigloo few weeks on the *single* (c) openigloo designated day they would bring (c) openigloo in an exterminator. This left (c) openigloo us without a kitchen as (c) openigloo we now had no fridge (c) openigloo and so many cockroaches we (c) openigloo felt like we couldn’t even (c) openigloo go into the tiny 6sqft (c) openigloo area they called a kitchen. (c) openigloo Heat was on and off (c) openigloo randomly but it was as (c) openigloo if they had the settings (c) openigloo on backwards. It would blast (c) openigloo heat when you were already (c) openigloo dying from it and then (c) openigloo it wouldn’t kick on when (c) openigloo you were shivering. (No joke (c) openigloo they had the heat on (c) openigloo all the way into May (c) openigloo to the point we had (c) openigloo to leave our windows open (c) openigloo year-round). Hot water would run (c) openigloo out when you needed it. (c) openigloo The icing on the cake (c) openigloo came when I was physically (c) openigloo assaulted by my downstairs neighbor (c) openigloo and was forced to get (c) openigloo a restraining order against him. (c) openigloo The building on all floors (c) openigloo ALWAYS smelled. There were cockroaches (c) openigloo and other bugs in the (c) openigloo trash chute area. Mice in (c) openigloo the hallways. People smoke in (c) openigloo the stairwell. The sound of (c) openigloo airplanes passing overhead makes you (c) openigloo think they are going to (c) openigloo crash into your apartment because (c) openigloo they get so loud. Constant (c) openigloo noise outside of cars honking (c) openigloo or alarms going off or (c) openigloo more construction. And good luck (c) openigloo if you have a car: (c) openigloo I think on average it (c) openigloo would take us 20-30 minutes (c) openigloo to find a spot with (c) openigloo some days being more than (c) openigloo double that.

There were times when I (c) openigloo would see a lot of (c) openigloo huge water bugs in apartment (c) openigloo & hallways. Sometimes washer & (c) openigloo dryers would take your money (c) openigloo but wouldn’t work

Clean hallways & staircases better & do something about huge water bugs

Noise level with neighbors was (c) openigloo always at a minimum. Doorman (c) openigloo building for great price, packages (c) openigloo were always safe. Beautiful city (c) openigloo view, great sunlight.
Cons:
Cold in the winter, window (c) openigloo seal wasn't great took forever (c) openigloo for super to repair. At (c) openigloo times one operating elevator.

Maintenance team needed for speedy response.

I like the building staff (c) openigloo a lot -friendly, trustworthy, and (c) openigloo quick to fix an maintenance (c) openigloo issue. The location is perfect (c) openigloo (close to 1/2/3 and B/C) (c) openigloo with restaurants and grocery stores (c) openigloo within a 1-2 block span. (c) openigloo The apartment itself is well (c) openigloo sound-proofed, spacious (we have families (c) openigloo with babies on our floor (c) openigloo and have never heard them), (c) openigloo and pet-friendly (we've never noticed (c) openigloo barking either). The units are (c) openigloo nicely updated with modern appliances. (c) openigloo There's outdoor space for all (c) openigloo (or almost all) apartments. The (c) openigloo neighbors here are friendly. No (c) openigloo washer/dryer but the shared laundry (c) openigloo space is clean and it's (c) openigloo not too hard to find (c) openigloo an empty unit.
Cons:
My only issue is that (c) openigloo we have had repeated run (c) openigloo ins with roaches -unclear if (c) openigloo this is the entire building (c) openigloo or just a few units (c) openigloo (making us unlucky). Management does (c) openigloo have pest control that regularly (c) openigloo comes by and is available (c) openigloo to come 1x weekly to (c) openigloo apartments which also makes me (c) openigloo think the issue is not (c) openigloo building-wide.
looks can be deceiving

Cons:
workers for the building are (c) openigloo rude, they have a HUGE (c) openigloo roaches nd water bug problem (c) openigloo that they don’t ever fix, (c) openigloo super is racist and so (c) openigloo is the doorman, doesn’t fix (c) openigloo anything properly unless you are (c) openigloo not the minority group.

do better before you get a lawsuit

It's a really special place. (c) openigloo The maintenance guys and especially (c) openigloo Paul the super are awesome. (c) openigloo Neighbors are great and it (c) openigloo really feels like a community.
Cons:
Amsterdam Ave can get noisy (c) openigloo from people blasting music or (c) openigloo riding loud motorbikes. But Rose Associates (c) openigloo is terrible. They're crooks who (c) openigloo make up their own rules (c) openigloo for getting the security deposit (c) openigloo back and illegally deduct from (c) openigloo it. I've filed suit in (c) openigloo small claims court.
Advice to owner:
Give me my money back. The lawyers are coming for you.

The doormen are sweet, the (c) openigloo neighbors are great as well. (c) openigloo Great view from balcony.
Cons:
Cheaply put together, not maintained (c) openigloo properly, infestations of insects AND (c) openigloo rodents. Super is never available, (c) openigloo and when he is, does (c) openigloo the bare minimum. We lose (c) openigloo power often, one elevator or (c) openigloo both are always not working.
Advice to owner:
Upkeep better than it is now, mainly the infestations and the maintenance of everything in the building.
