Absolutely Not - RUN
Former Tenant
Pros:
Roof top access.
Cons:
Awful landlord (Martin) - a nightmare to communicate with and refuses to take action (even on safety related issues) until you withhold rent and/or threaten to work with a lawyer. Unsafe area - building across the street had multiple fatal drive by shootings last year. Squatters in the alley way and often inside the building. Tried to keep our security deposit until we threatened going to court.
Advice to owner:
Do not let Martin manage this property. Make the building safer and cleaner.
