Reviews

Fine and Affordable for its Neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
I liked how quiet Stanton (c) openigloo St is. The building mangers (c) openigloo are incredibly responsive and resolve (c) openigloo issues very quickly. The unit (c) openigloo was clean and freshly painted (c) openigloo when we arrived. We had (c) openigloo very few issues with our (c) openigloo experience overall.
Cons:
Some bedrooms are very small (c) openigloo with little natural little and (c) openigloo no living room which is (c) openigloo pretty typical NYC, but there (c) openigloo are better options in the (c) openigloo same price range around the (c) openigloo neighborhood. Old building with old (c) openigloo LOUD pipes. It was hard (c) openigloo to sleep when the radiators (c) openigloo turned on the first few (c) openigloo nights. The oven just did (c) openigloo not work very well and (c) openigloo the units are tinyyyyy.
Advice to owner:
Lower the price!
Not the Best, Not on the Street
Former Tenant
Pros:
Maintenance people are very fast (c) openigloo to fix a problem day-of (c) openigloo or next day. They are (c) openigloo very nice too. The location (c) openigloo of this building, although loud (c) openigloo when the bars and restaurants (c) openigloo are active, is great for (c) openigloo close access to Soho/EV/LES, Whole (c) openigloo Foods, and the subway. Most (c) openigloo units have dated appliances and (c) openigloo the shared kitchen space is (c) openigloo small with the large counters/cabinets (c) openigloo they added.
Cons:
Property owners treat tenants like (c) openigloo they’re a nuisance. There were (c) openigloo some winters when the heat (c) openigloo wouldn’t work for days and (c) openigloo they were slow to prioritize (c) openigloo it. They were/are not collaborative (c) openigloo with tenants that have faced (c) openigloo financial troubles due to the (c) openigloo pandemic.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants with respect and you won’t have a building mostly unoccupied like what happened during the pandemic.
