I was so happy that (c) openigloo it was a quiet apartment. (c) openigloo No traffic noises. Everything worked (c) openigloo well & the super was (c) openigloo responsive. The neighborhood & neighbors (c) openigloo were lovely.. Management were understanding (c) openigloo of my needs.
Cons:
The kitchen could be updated (c) openigloo a little but there was (c) openigloo a lot of storage space (c) openigloo & I got a new (c) openigloo oven

- If your windows face (c) openigloo the street, it can get (c) openigloo very noisy sometimes (but not (c) openigloo always) - Management seems more interested (c) openigloo in lipstick projects than meaningful (c) openigloo changes (replaces interior decor of (c) openigloo elevator while the elevator itself (c) openigloo continues to break down repeatedly (c) openigloo over next year, replaces washing (c) openigloo machines but hardly ever repairs (c) openigloo the new ones when they (c) openigloo break down which is often, (c) openigloo etc.) - Building manager is pretty (c) openigloo awful. Expect pinny pinching on (c) openigloo heat (to the point where (c) openigloo you'll need to call 311), (c) openigloo lying to or ignoring tenants, (c) openigloo etc. Fired a previous super (c) openigloo who regularly went out of (c) openigloo his way to help tenants. (c) openigloo Often 24 hours communication or (c) openigloo less (or none) of major (c) openigloo events like interruption of water, (c) openigloo etc. - Dirty water (especially hot (c) openigloo water if someone else above/below (c) openigloo you is running theirs too) - (c) openigloo Laundry room has been largely (c) openigloo non functional for a long (c) openigloo time now (it takes months (c) openigloo for service to be called (c) openigloo when washing machines and dryers (c) openigloo break down - as I (c) openigloo write this all washers and (c) openigloo dryers except one of each (c) openigloo have been out of order (c) openigloo for close to four months)

Take a hard look at your building manager. Make meaningful changes, not just projects to make it pretty for potential renters. Put in a better door/intercom system.

Overall the apartment is great. (c) openigloo Yes it is more on (c) openigloo the expensive side but the (c) openigloo building has a lot to (c) openigloo offer. Loft like apartment with (c) openigloo elevator opening onto your own (c) openigloo floor and a gym in (c) openigloo basement.
Cons:
The windows can be quite (c) openigloo difficult to operate and hardly (c) openigloo got cleaned.

The apts feel updated with (c) openigloo new appliances, and brick walls (c) openigloo make the bedrooms a bit (c) openigloo more soundproof. Great location, typically (c) openigloo the building stays pretty secure (c) openigloo and it’s mostly young people (c) openigloo who make up the building.
Cons:
Big rat problem in the (c) openigloo trash room and the super (c) openigloo will simply never respond to (c) openigloo your texts. Danny, the man (c) openigloo who takes out the trash (c) openigloo is so beyond sweet and (c) openigloo works hard to make everyone (c) openigloo feel safe. Lots of Gnats (c) openigloo and Flies seep into the (c) openigloo building because of the courtyard (c) openigloo trash room and we did (c) openigloo have a mouse problem this (c) openigloo year. Lots of loud drunk (c) openigloo kids running up and down (c) openigloo the stairs (primarily on weekends (c) openigloo which is normal in LES). (c) openigloo The Laundry room is in (c) openigloo desperate need for an update. (c) openigloo We call it the dungeon, (c) openigloo and only 2/4 of the (c) openigloo dryers have worked half the (c) openigloo year.
Advice to owner:
Update the laundry room to bring better value to your building. Take action for stollen packages, and maybe re-allow rooftop access.

The super was pretty unresponsive (c) openigloo and we had to reach (c) openigloo out to the account executive (c) openigloo to get things fixed at (c) openigloo times.
