Great location and good area (c) openigloo with fun dive bars on (c) openigloo the block but not right (c) openigloo below. Great laundry around the (c) openigloo corner too. Extermination every month (c) openigloo seems to be pretty effective
Cons:
Heating is all over the (c) openigloo place — had a morning (c) openigloo where it was 40° in (c) openigloo my unit because the heat (c) openigloo wasn’t on when freezing outside. (c) openigloo Building isn’t super responsive but (c) openigloo haven’t had many problems.

- the super is very (c) openigloo responsive when text / call - (c) openigloo well lit staircase - room is (c) openigloo quiet - exterminator comes every (c) openigloo month free of charge - spacious (c) openigloo apt layout and the rooms (c) openigloo aren’t on top of eachother (c) openigloo and it gets a lot (c) openigloo of light
Cons:
- packages often get stolen - (c) openigloo street has a lot of (c) openigloo rats compared to other areas, (c) openigloo but consistent with most of (c) openigloo alphabet city - bathroom is (c) openigloo on small side

Decent rent, responsive super, good (c) openigloo heating, and good water.
Cons:
Building not in the best (c) openigloo shape, consistent problems w/ vermin, (c) openigloo trash management was a nightmare (c) openigloo consistently across my time there.
Advice to owner:
Do proper site survey work when tenants move out and address long-term vermin access.

I loved living in this (c) openigloo building. The garbage was handled (c) openigloo very well which I appreciate.
Cons:
The heat was always either (c) openigloo too much or not on (c) openigloo at all which I think (c) openigloo could be addressed

Pros:
The space you get in (c) openigloo the living space is nice (c) openigloo and the live in super (c) openigloo is super kind.
Cons:
The trash could be managed (c) openigloo better and the hallways could (c) openigloo be cleaner

Pros:
Fun black & white tiled (c) openigloo bathrooms. Low key interior means my (c) openigloo shabby/boho furniture doesn’t look out (c) openigloo of place. We have more space (c) openigloo than most of the other (c) openigloo places that were available at (c) openigloo the time we looked. We (c) openigloo haven’t needed extermination services yet, (c) openigloo but it seems like they (c) openigloo do a monthly service call (c) openigloo for those that do. Heat is (c) openigloo plentiful in the winter.
Cons:
No big gripes. It’s definitely (c) openigloo a grungy apartment, but it’s (c) openigloo the East Village. There are (c) openigloo some minor cracks in the (c) openigloo plaster, but nothing egregious. There (c) openigloo are some cracks in the (c) openigloo tiles, but nothing dangerous/nothing that (c) openigloo impacts the utility of the (c) openigloo apt. We accepted that the (c) openigloo floors are permanently stained, so (c) openigloo we forked out some money (c) openigloo for some vinyl mats to (c) openigloo cover those areas. So far (c) openigloo only 1 dead cockroach/1 living (c) openigloo cockroach spotted in the first (c) openigloo two months.
Advice to owner:
Make sure the stairs to the outside are evenly spaced & straight. Some of them are iffy & probably a liability.

we had a horrible roach (c) openigloo infestation. a lot of tenants (c) openigloo said that they did not (c) openigloo but our unit DID and (c) openigloo management was not helpful. they (c) openigloo did end up letting us (c) openigloo break our lease.
