Pros:
Proximity to the Q train. (c) openigloo Large apartment but they are (c) openigloo cutting them all up now.
Cons:
Apartment was NOT ready on (c) openigloo my move in date, not (c) openigloo cleaned and things were broken (c) openigloo and stained. Shortly after construction (c) openigloo began on 6 other apartments (c) openigloo on the floor. All of (c) openigloo this so that they could (c) openigloo present us with a new (c) openigloo lease with a $1000 increase.
Advice to owner:
If you can't earn trust of your tenants in one and bedrooms. Good luck pleasing the tenants of the $18,000 apartments you are all kicking us out for.

This dated, dreary building is (c) openigloo raising rents at an alarming (c) openigloo rate (38% and more) because (c) openigloo new buildings are being built (c) openigloo all around them. Rugs are (c) openigloo worn, hallways are dark and (c) openigloo the building is in need (c) openigloo of a total renovation

Make this building worthy of these ridiculous rents

- Unresponsive management - At least (c) openigloo 3 experiences with pests - Problems (c) openigloo with water (clogged pipes) - Central (c) openigloo heating runs a little high

Cons:
My bathroom ran into a (c) openigloo few plumbing / leak issues (c) openigloo but management was very on (c) openigloo top of fixing it… just (c) openigloo took a few tries

The management is AWFUL. The (c) openigloo worst experience I have ever (c) openigloo had living in nyc. Their (c) openigloo negligence made my dog sick (c) openigloo and they did not care (c) openigloo and it took them over (c) openigloo a week to even acknowledge (c) openigloo it
Advice to owner:
Have a little decency? Care about the people paying you thousands of dollars

Cons:
Once you sign the lease (c) openigloo it’s incredibly hard to get (c) openigloo a response. When I signed (c) openigloo (a few years ago) the (c) openigloo next day the gas as (c) openigloo shut off for the whole (c) openigloo building - was not told (c) openigloo found out through the NYT (c) openigloo article.

Be more responsive.

The building is generally pleasant. (c) openigloo Apartments are spacious. Doormen/women are (c) openigloo superb. Great package room.
Cons:
Apartments vary in their level (c) openigloo of upgrades, yet you pay (c) openigloo the same rent regardless. The (c) openigloo office staff is unresponsive and (c) openigloo rude.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants better.
