Pros:
Great location
Generally good neighbors
Generally quiet (c) openigloo neighbors, with a few exceptions
Current (c) openigloo super is good
Cat friendly building, (c) openigloo dogs not allowed (though still (c) openigloo see them)
Cons:
- If your windows face (c) openigloo the street, it can get (c) openigloo very noisy sometimes (but not (c) openigloo always)
- Management seems more interested (c) openigloo in lipstick projects than meaningful (c) openigloo changes (replaces interior decor of (c) openigloo elevator while the elevator itself (c) openigloo continues to break down repeatedly (c) openigloo over next year, replaces washing (c) openigloo machines but hardly ever repairs (c) openigloo the new ones when they (c) openigloo break down which is often, (c) openigloo etc.)
- Building manager is pretty (c) openigloo awful. Expect pinny pinching on (c) openigloo heat (to the point where (c) openigloo you'll need to call 311), (c) openigloo lying to or ignoring tenants, (c) openigloo etc. Fired a previous super (c) openigloo who regularly went out of (c) openigloo his way to help tenants. (c) openigloo Often 24 hours communication or (c) openigloo less (or none) of major (c) openigloo events like interruption of water, (c) openigloo etc.
- Dirty water (especially hot (c) openigloo water if someone else above/below (c) openigloo you is running theirs too)
- (c) openigloo Laundry room has been largely (c) openigloo non functional for a long (c) openigloo time now (it takes months (c) openigloo for service to be called (c) openigloo when washing machines and dryers (c) openigloo break down - as I (c) openigloo write this all washers and (c) openigloo dryers except one of each (c) openigloo have been out of order (c) openigloo for close to four months)
Advice to owner:
Take a hard look at your building manager. Make meaningful changes, not just projects to make it pretty for potential renters. Put in a better door/intercom system.
