Poorly maintained building

Pros:
Huge apartments, tall ceilings, lots (c) openigloo of natural light. Maintenance is (c) openigloo very responsive. Location is good.
Cons:
Too much noise from the (c) openigloo street traffic, very poorly maintained, (c) openigloo poor waste management, sidewalk is (c) openigloo filthy, and there are mice (c) openigloo and roaches.
Advice to owner:
Do a better job with sanitation of the building

Cons:
The garbage was never removed (c) openigloo and piles up. Old building (c) openigloo so needs repairs and the (c) openigloo super is cool but he (c) openigloo shows a lack of fixing (c) openigloo things.

The building is extremely dirty. (c) openigloo The super Harry is irresponsible (c) openigloo - he will schedule appointments (c) openigloo and will not show up, (c) openigloo will tell you he will (c) openigloo go get some tools and (c) openigloo come right back and will (c) openigloo disappear for hours or not (c) openigloo return at all. He will (c) openigloo only do the work after (c) openigloo you complain to the management (c) openigloo about him.

Pros:
The building is rent stabilized (c) openigloo and in a nice quiet (c) openigloo neighborhood.
Cons:
The building is filthy and (c) openigloo smelly. Even if you keep (c) openigloo a clean apartment you feel (c) openigloo dirty entering and exiting the (c) openigloo building. The super is slow (c) openigloo to respond and does no (c) openigloo general cleaning of the common (c) openigloo areas. Every time I visit (c) openigloo the basement to do laundry (c) openigloo or use the service entrance (c) openigloo there's a dead cockroach waiting (c) openigloo for me.
Advice to owner:
Clean up the building (mop the halls, wash the walls, clean out the heaters in the common areas, fix the basement floor, make the laundry room more inviting, replace window screens, etc.), and have the super post signs when things aren't working. Sometimes the elevator isn't working or there's a flood in the basement. A sign would really help to communicate what's going on.

Cons:
Lots of honking in the (c) openigloo area and a bit noisy.

The space itself was decent
Cons:
INFESTED with roaches and bugs (c) openigloo - in every room, cabinet, (c) openigloo drawer and even the refrigerator. (c) openigloo Neighbors kept belongings chained up (c) openigloo in the lobby, including a (c) openigloo motorcycle. Super was completely unresponsive (c) openigloo as was landlord. Garbage was (c) openigloo tossed down the stairs into (c) openigloo an alley or was just (c) openigloo left in a massive pile (c) openigloo on the sidewalk.
Advice to owner:
Stop being a slumlord.
Apartment was ok, building not so much

Had garage parking attached to (c) openigloo the building for an extra (c) openigloo fee, laundry in building, elevators
Cons:
Loud neighbors, management was slow (c) openigloo to respond, only one heater (c) openigloo in a 2bd apartment, not (c) openigloo a lot to do in (c) openigloo the area if you don’t (c) openigloo have kids or don’t like (c) openigloo sports bars, 15 minute walk (c) openigloo to trains

The apartment had a nice (c) openigloo layout. The views from the (c) openigloo fire escape outside of my (c) openigloo window were pleasant.
Cons:
Everything else. It was a (c) openigloo poorly maintained building in every (c) openigloo way - dirty, unsafe, packages (c) openigloo would regularly get stolen, there (c) openigloo were problems with pests, things (c) openigloo would break down in our (c) openigloo apartment too often, etc. Management (c) openigloo was frustrating and didn't communicate (c) openigloo well.
Advice to owner:
Do better, plain and simple.
