Great, sparkling clean apartment.

It was always so clean (c) openigloo in there; the hallways were (c) openigloo cleaned once a week. There (c) openigloo is a trash room (incredibly (c) openigloo rare!) that was also, *spotless*. (c) openigloo I'm not a stickler for (c) openigloo this stuff but it really (c) openigloo made an impression. We had (c) openigloo very few issues, we were (c) openigloo returned our security deposit by (c) openigloo the mgmt, and they wrote (c) openigloo me a letter of recommendation (c) openigloo after. If you can afford (c) openigloo it, do it.
Cons:
They almost doubled our rent (c) openigloo during covid. They did not (c) openigloo want to negotiate.
Advice to owner:
You would have had multiple 10+ year tenants who loved the building if you would have been willing to negotiate on covid rents. We loved the building but were forced to move.

It's super close to the (c) openigloo train and the building is (c) openigloo well-maintained. The office was always (c) openigloo responsive whenever there was an (c) openigloo issue and there a few (c) openigloo because it's an older building, (c) openigloo but never had an issue (c) openigloo getting something fixed.
Cons:
Mice were a constant issue. (c) openigloo I had a box of (c) openigloo 20 protein bars on the (c) openigloo top shelf in the pantry, (c) openigloo and the mice ate all (c) openigloo of them in one weekend. (c) openigloo Also, the bedrooms at the (c) openigloo back have to share a (c) openigloo fire escape with two other (c) openigloo apartments, which was an issue (c) openigloo with people hanging outside my (c) openigloo bedroom at night while I'm (c) openigloo trying to sleep.

Comfortable home but small space

Near a bunch of stores, (c) openigloo bars and restaurants. Subway F (c) openigloo line is 100 feet away (c) openigloo and takes you everywhere. Great (c) openigloo area
Cons:
The landlord doesn’t care about (c) openigloo answering fast or helping ofte. No (c) openigloo dishwasher no living room. The super (c) openigloo is super nice and helpful

The building is full of (c) openigloo 25-30 year old kids who (c) openigloo are loud on the weekends (c) openigloo but quiet on the weeknights. (c) openigloo The building doesn’t truly get (c) openigloo that loud, the walls between (c) openigloo apartments are thick (the walls (c) openigloo within apartments are not so (c) openigloo thick). The super is responsive (c) openigloo on issues within his control, (c) openigloo but anything further will take (c) openigloo a long time. We haven’t (c) openigloo seen ANY creepy bugs (knock (c) openigloo on wood) and the exterminator (c) openigloo will come as often as (c) openigloo you want. We love this (c) openigloo spot for these reasons!
Cons:
The price is way inflated (c) openigloo for the space. The doors (c) openigloo are hollow and the apartment (c) openigloo is small. It hasn’t been (c) openigloo updated in a while. You (c) openigloo would think at the price (c) openigloo of this place it would (c) openigloo be nicer, but you really (c) openigloo pay for the neighborhood. We (c) openigloo had many issues out of (c) openigloo the super’s immediate control that (c) openigloo took MANY months to be (c) openigloo fixed. The landlord has never (c) openigloo answered a single email we (c) openigloo have sent about issues in (c) openigloo the apartment.

Be responsive to your tenants.
Good management, not great with heating

We’ve had mice here, but (c) openigloo extermination keeps it under control. (c) openigloo The heat in the winter (c) openigloo can be weak, it has (c) openigloo broken several times mid-winter and (c) openigloo had to go without heat (c) openigloo overnight. Management was responsive about (c) openigloo the problem though.

-tiny, no closets -Barely a kitchen (c) openigloo or living room -NO HOT SHOWERS (c) openigloo EVER. -however sink water can (c) openigloo get scolding -landlord Frequently ignores (c) openigloo pleads for help from us -Great (c) openigloo roof, but not allowed up (c) openigloo there, you will get in (c) openigloo trouble if you try it -you (c) openigloo hear everything- neighbors are super (c) openigloo loud -people constantly smoke in the (c) openigloo building and near building -it’s over (c) openigloo a pizza place that smells (c) openigloo like cheap dough and it’s (c) openigloo vomit worthy - roaches - floors are (c) openigloo disintegrating which caused me to (c) openigloo cut up my foot multiple (c) openigloo times -oven could be called “easy (c) openigloo bake oven” -they frequently turn off (c) openigloo water without telling you. -you (c) openigloo cannot call the office if (c) openigloo you have a question - (c) openigloo overpriced. Do not rent here - (c) openigloo ignored pleads for help during (c) openigloo the pandemic

LISTEN TO YOUR TENANTS RESPOND TO YOUR TENANTS INVEST IN THE BUILDING REPAIR THE BUILDING BUILD IN CLOSETS DONT IGNORE YOUR TENANTS
