Reviews

Works if you’re looking for affordable with space
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments have a good (c) openigloo amount space in the living (c) openigloo room and especially the bathroom. (c) openigloo There is security in the (c) openigloo lobby. We have 3 nice (c) openigloo elevators and I almost never (c) openigloo have to wait. The rent (c) openigloo is quite affordable for the (c) openigloo space you get compared to (c) openigloo other NYC buildings.
Cons:
Not super close to the (c) openigloo train. The walk to the (c) openigloo train is pretty hilly. Some (c) openigloo residents are gross (dumping food (c) openigloo in the trash compactor rather (c) openigloo than placing it in bags) (c) openigloo which leads to roaches. Some (c) openigloo residents break property (glass doors) (c) openigloo and just don’t seem to (c) openigloo respect living in a shared (c) openigloo space with others. Management is (c) openigloo not super responsive.
Advice to owner:
Respond promptly to tenants because they are paying rent that funds your pockets.
Simple
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good space apartment Super responds quick Nice (c) openigloo security guards
Cons:
Next to a shelter & (c) openigloo police station so it gets (c) openigloo a little loud once in (c) openigloo a while Some people in the (c) openigloo building can be rude Unclear pet (c) openigloo policy
Advice to owner:
N/A
Look at your own risk
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nothing that I can think (c) openigloo off
Cons:
Roaches from the other DIRTY (c) openigloo apartments will come up to (c) openigloo yours and youll have an (c) openigloo infestation , they took 10 (c) openigloo years to Finally put a (c) openigloo building number at the fron
Advice to owner:
They suck, but I heard the building is getting new owners so hopefully they are better at maintenance
Review of 1027 East 172nd Street, Bronx, New York
Former Tenant
Pros:
Proximity to school’s & transportation. (c) openigloo 2/5 line and the 6 (c) openigloo train.
Cons:
Neighborhood is changing, many buildings (c) openigloo on top of each other. (c) openigloo Loud & unsafe at night. (c) openigloo Very limited parking. Plenty of (c) openigloo garages to pay for a (c) openigloo space.
lived here for a while
Former Tenant
Pros:
i enjoyed how big the (c) openigloo lobby and home was. the (c) openigloo community room was also pretty (c) openigloo nice, although i never got (c) openigloo to use it personally.
Cons:
the area around the apartment (c) openigloo wasn’t the best.
Advice to owner:
building supper should really be more responsive
Loud Inconsiderate Neighbors & No Transportation
Former Tenant
Pros:
It's a coop thus you (c) openigloo own part of the corporation. (c) openigloo The board has done well (c) openigloo to increase the equity of (c) openigloo the apartments
Cons:
Neighbors are inconsiderate. Loud music (c) openigloo playing from the park.
Advice to owner:
The co-op board is doing an amazing job. Much needed apartment renovations. Electrical work is needed.
