Good location, right inbetween orchard (c) openigloo and Ludlow
Cons:
Do not live here!!! It (c) openigloo is completely cockroach infested and (c) openigloo smells like cigarettes from the (c) openigloo tenants. It is not cleanly (c) openigloo the trash has rats. The (c) openigloo management is absolutely awful.
Advice to owner:
Tent the whole building

Our apartment was barely updated (c) openigloo and then they price gouged (c) openigloo us after covid. We didn't (c) openigloo have one closet in the (c) openigloo entire apartment. And only one (c) openigloo sink in the kitchen. No (c) openigloo sink in the bathroom. No (c) openigloo one should be paying thousands (c) openigloo of dollars for a room (c) openigloo that only fits a full (c) openigloo and a dresser. Especially if (c) openigloo there is no other space

Building was a mess. The (c) openigloo garbage room was disgusting and (c) openigloo the hallway entrance always reeked (c) openigloo of garbage. Buzzer was broken (c) openigloo for months and the managing (c) openigloo company is not very responsive

The building is very well (c) openigloo maintained and management is very (c) openigloo attentive. They have an online (c) openigloo portal for maintenance requests and (c) openigloo they’re very responsive!
Cons:
We’ve had cockroaches but they (c) openigloo have an exterminator that comes (c) openigloo by regularly and our issues (c) openigloo have decreased significantly since he’s (c) openigloo down routine maintenance. He comes (c) openigloo by once a month and (c) openigloo make sure you accept his (c) openigloo service! It’s free

- Fridge was broken for (c) openigloo 2-3 months (in the summer) (c) openigloo and the management didn't take (c) openigloo care of fixing it. - (c) openigloo Heat wasn't working until early-mid (c) openigloo December. - 3-4 times (in one (c) openigloo year) there was no water (c) openigloo at night due to maintenance. - (c) openigloo There was a sort of (c) openigloo balcony (unaccessible) where there was (c) openigloo stagnant water and became overpopulated (c) openigloo by pigeons (we couldn't open (c) openigloo 2 the windows because of (c) openigloo that)

For living on the lower (c) openigloo east side, this apartment has (c) openigloo some pros and cons. You (c) openigloo are very close to anything (c) openigloo you could want to do (c) openigloo in LES and East Village, (c) openigloo and very close to the (c) openigloo B/D subway (less than 2 (c) openigloo min walk.) Building is kept (c) openigloo pretty clean, trash gets cleared (c) openigloo out once a week. Super (c) openigloo replies within an hour or (c) openigloo so if during the week (c) openigloo via email or through the (c) openigloo portal.
Cons:
Cons: proximity to the park, (c) openigloo lots of crime happening at (c) openigloo any given moment, important to (c) openigloo stay alert. The heat did (c) openigloo not always work in the (c) openigloo two years I've lived there. (c) openigloo Water comes out of my (c) openigloo heater and when I talked (c) openigloo to the super about it, (c) openigloo didn't exactly resolve. My neighbors (c) openigloo have had mice before, we (c) openigloo were scared we had some (c) openigloo too but the super came (c) openigloo quickly with traps etc.
