Cons:
- filthy always - dirty (c) openigloo - dirty staircases - broken lobby (c) openigloo doors - gloomy lights in the (c) openigloo hallways - always dirty - (c) openigloo paint chipped and dirty walls (c) openigloo in the hallway - the (c) openigloo front of the building was (c) openigloo always dirty - management office (c) openigloo - extremely rude to their (c) openigloo tenants - the super does not (c) openigloo clean
Advice to owner:
change your workers at gilman management and new super that actually works on making sure the building is presentable and clean

Make sure the people hired to repair, fix, or do any type of maintenence on this building needs to know how to complete the job.
Management is slow to fix issues/does not fix them

Recently renovated units, no brokers (c) openigloo fee, minimal issues with bugs/rodents. (c) openigloo The super is very friendly (c) openigloo and helpful but speaks minimal (c) openigloo english
Cons:
There was a huge leak (c) openigloo in Sept 2023 and management (c) openigloo never repaired my ceiling or (c) openigloo smoke detector in common area. (c) openigloo Trash (level 2) sometimes builds (c) openigloo up and attracts rodents when (c) openigloo management doesnt take it out (c) openigloo enough. Can be hard to (c) openigloo reach management because there is (c) openigloo no direct phone number. Neighbors (c) openigloo can be loud and leave (c) openigloo shoes in hallway

Fix the issues in a timely manner.

The apartment was large and (c) openigloo spacious by New York City (c) openigloo standards. The units in (c) openigloo the back didn't get much (c) openigloo street noise. Walking distance (c) openigloo to Prospect Park and the (c) openigloo subway.
Cons:
Management doesn't adhere to basic (c) openigloo courtesy such as returning phone (c) openigloo calls. The elevator was (c) openigloo so unsafe that the City (c) openigloo of New York posted a (c) openigloo sign on it declaring it (c) openigloo unsafe to use, but management (c) openigloo took down the sign without (c) openigloo fixing the elevator. One (c) openigloo of my delivery people got (c) openigloo trapped in the elevator for (c) openigloo a while. The emergency (c) openigloo call button didn't work because (c) openigloo management didn't want to pay (c) openigloo for a service to answer (c) openigloo the calls from trapped people! Stay (c) openigloo away from this building!

The location of this building (c) openigloo is great, as it is (c) openigloo only a 5-minute walk to (c) openigloo the Macy Avenue station (serving (c) openigloo both Line M and J) (c) openigloo and is located in a (c) openigloo safe area. Downtown Williamsburg is (c) openigloo also just a 10-minute walk (c) openigloo away.
Cons:
The garbage operation in the (c) openigloo center of the building can (c) openigloo be noisy early in the (c) openigloo morning and cockroaches have been (c) openigloo reported. Additionally, while the central (c) openigloo heating is usually warm, it (c) openigloo may not be sufficient in (c) openigloo some rooms during the night.
Advice to owner:
More frequent pest control and better central heating in some rooms are needed.

Please don't ban people for trying to deal with their issues.
Don’t expect much… front door has been busted for months.

Cons:
Nobody bothered to smooth out (c) openigloo the caulk in the bathroom, (c) openigloo so there are beads and (c) openigloo huge gaps that foster black (c) openigloo mold. Door buzzer has been broken (c) openigloo for months, maybe over a (c) openigloo year. Landlord wants to demand higher (c) openigloo rent now while rent stabilization (c) openigloo has been removed, yet won’t (c) openigloo even fix the building.
Advice to owner:
Fix the door buzzer so we don’t have to run up and down for deliveries and guests!
