Extremely Budget Location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Walking distance to Trader Joe’s. Jogging distance to Allston
Cons:
The bathroom was extremely small and not well renovated. The individual rooms are small with a very large bed that takes up most of the room. There is no AC and it’s practically impossible to add AC in all but two rooms. The basement room have no window. One of the first floor rooms lack proper wiring to support even the weakest of AC units. The electrical wiring is all messed up. Lights and breakers are connected between different rooms in a way that makes no sense. The kitchen is also very small so only one person can cook in there at a time. The living can get very hot in the summer. The basement rooms have bugs and insects that crawl through the window. The laundry is outside the unit in the basement and costs quarters. When it rains hard sometimes the electricity goes out and it is the only house on the block that does so.
Advice to owner:
Fix the electrical wiring.
