Nice size unit for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
The bedroom is spacious. The light on the upper floors is great. The outdoor area in the back is spacious and kept clean.
Cons:
No closet in my unit and the varnish on the floor started to peel up soon after I moved in. This is out of the landlord's control but the street also has a few junkies that will block the door at times.
Advice to owner:
Use better floor varnish. Otherwise it seemed like a well run building at a good price at the time.

The apartments are great
Former Tenant
Pros:
Steps away from Lower East Side nightlife. Apartments are spacious and renovated. Great super and responsive landlord! Nice backyard area/ outdoor space.
Cons:
The most roaches I’ve had since living in NYC. They’re usually in the halls but occasionally will make their way into the apartments. Unfortunately it’s the Lower east side, but would love to see a little more pest control. Also the halls and stairwells are not regularly cleaned. Dead roaches will stay in the halls for months. Also there are constantly homeless people sitting outside the building doors. Makes it very hard to easily move in and out of the building.
Advice to owner:
More pest control
