Do not rent here
Former Tenant
Pros:
The street itself is beautiful
- the super is a really nice guy who takes care of the trash well
Cons:
- worst building management ever
- rats inside the building and management doesn’t care
- decaying and disgusting hallways and dangerous stairs that are falling apart
- fire occurred in june 2024 and the building didn’t start construction until january 2025 leaving everyone in unsafe conditions
- multiple break ins and stolen packages and building didn’t add in any additional security measures
- building always smells
- you can hear everything in every apartment
- no heat in winter to the point I was wearing gloves and winter jacket inside, nothing happened until threatening to call 311
- old windows with terrible draft in winter

Avoid this building at all costs
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap rent for the area
Location is good
Quiet neighbors and street
Cons:
- Rats inside the building in the walls: building management was contacted regarding this and they completely ignored all emails and calls.
- Fire damage throughout the building that has not been repaired in months (fire was in June 2024)
- Stairs are dangerous and have not been repaired in what I would assume is 50 years+
- The building is not secure, there have been break ins
- overall the management company/owner have been impossible to deal with, and they have allowed people to live in/rent unlivable conditions while collecting full rent
Advice to owner:
Sell the building
