It's ok but not worth the money
Former Tenant
Pros:
Decent location, super is mostly helpful
Cons:
Too expensive for what you get. 2 bedroom apartment is the size of a large studio

Convenient Meth-Dealing Deli On-site
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was a decent, relatively-affordable rental building in Chelsea.
Cons:
The building was sold to new owners that booted all the tenants - renovated the units and jacked up the rents.
The new owners kept the first floor Deli tenant that rather openly deals drugs out of their store front. This created a variety of security issues.
Advice to owner:
Get rid of the Deli!

Jekyll and Hyde
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful old building, high ceilings, good closets.
Cons:
Neighborhood has gotten crazy and landlord isn’t very responsive to tenant safety concerns. Packages are stolen constantly. Super is useless. Small repairs take forever. Appliances go out and it’s tenant responsibility or you go without. Wayyyy over priced for what it is. And will find something small wrong with your credit to insist on multiple months of deposits.
