overall a fine place to live
Pros
location reasonable size for a 2 bed generally no major issues with heat, water, electricity hardwood floors
Cons
homeless people loitering in the entrance vestibule outdated kitchen fixtures, especially for price walls are thin and can hear outside noise plus neighbors' music and smell their weed (despite smoking being prohibited) very dark / limited natural light if facing the courtyard construction on neighboring building with obnoxiously loud workers screaming all day and trucks backing into the courtyard at 7am daily
Advice to the owners
secure the building entrance update kitchen appliances and cabinets increase soundproofing/advocate for tenants when neighbors engage in disruptive construction
do not move h
Pros
neighbor's are lovely, some have been in the building since it went up. Close proximity to subways, west village, west side highway
Cons
If you want to live in a building where everything goes wrong, this is the building for you. Heat and hot water go out at least once a week, cafeteria BLASTS music on the weekends and your whole apartment will shake. The super is useless and gaslights you constantly. The landlord is a slumlord who doesnt get the proper permitting for things so the building is extremely unsafe and a hazard. People complained that they say small baby rats in their apartment. enough said.
Advice to the owners
do better. treat you tenants with respect and do the right thing.
