Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 17 East 27 Street highlight a well-maintained, clean building with excellent garbage management and strong water pressure. Tenants appreciate friendly, responsive doormen and superintendents who quickly address issues. The building benefits from quiet noise levels and generally good pest control, albeit with occasional bug problems in summer. Apartments offer natural light in some units, though others lack it and face drafts in winter due to window insulation. Heating is centrally controlled, sometimes inconsistent. While many praise the community and management, a few note concerns about building leadership and extra fees associated with its co-op status. Overall, it offers a comfortable living environment in a prime location.
