Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 335 East 15 Street highlight its desirable location and spacious bathrooms as positive aspects. However, tenants report significant issues including poor building cleanliness, ineffective garbage management, and malfunctioning heating systems. Many express dissatisfaction with pest problems and low water pressure. Noise levels and neighbor relations receive mixed feedback, though some find neighbors agreeable. A recurring concern is the landlord's poor responsiveness and unprofessional behavior, with multiple reports of unaddressed repairs and lease violations. Overall, while the neighborhood is favored, management and maintenance issues detract from the living experience, prompting several renters to advise improvements in owner communication and building upkeep.

Very rude landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
I liked the neighborhood
Cons:
The landlord was extremely rude and violated the lease several times. I had to deal with having a refrigerator that didn’t work for an entire year because the landlord got angry at me and stormed into my apartment to scream at me with zero notice when I asked for it to be fixed. The landlord also did not give me the option to stay in the apartment even with raised rent, even when the apartment will be vacant for months.
Advice to owner:
Stop violating the terms of your lease. Fix things when tenants ask for them to be fixed. Make conditions livable for tenants.
