This building is in a great location and was a good first apartment in NYC.
Cons:
We had a mice problem that the management company could not resolve by the time we moved out. Unsure if it's since been resolved.

You get what you pay for
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, lack of pests, lack of street noise. Never had any issues with packages being stolen. Rent was very reasonable, especially for the location.
Cons:
The neighbors here are absolutely awful. Everyone in the building has a dog, and they all have separation anxiety. Forget working from home or having a minute of peace. They are constantly barking, howling, crying, etc. And when talked to, they don't care. Neither does the landlord. The landlord doesn't use email, so you have to either call or show up in person to get anything done. They are not at all respectful of time and personal space - they consistently had workmen show up without notifying us ahead of time so we could ensure someone was there.
Advice to owner:
Keep us in the loop, and use email for ease of communication.
