Review Summary for 342 East 63 Street
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 342 East 63 Street reveal a mixed living experience. Renters appreciate the building's convenient location near Trader Joe's and Equinox, as well as friendly and helpful superintendents. Some praise cleanliness, good heating, and quiet neighbors. However, significant concerns include persistent pest infestations (mice and roaches), inconsistent management responsiveness, and poor garbage handling. Water pressure is often described as weak, and rent is considered high, with frequent increases. While some tenants enjoy the well-maintained aspects and friendly community, the ongoing pest issues and management shortcomings negatively impact many residents' overall satisfaction.

Mice & Roach - do not recommend
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to Trader Joe’s, decent location
Cons:
Place is not maintained well. Roaches and mice all throughout the building. Building super is a wonderful guy. But quite frankly too busy to deal with the level of upkeep this place requires. Management doesn’t care and cuts corners. Apartments are fine for the market but be prepared to handle mice and roach on your own.
Advice to owner:
Actually take care of your units or provide your shower with better assistance. Also get rid of the roaches and mice that are sincerely everywhere.

Great building, friendly super, but too expensive
Former Tenant
Pros:
Well kept Great Super Convenient location
Cons:
Management does not care like every other building, they hike up rent $500+ dollars every year. The turnaround rate is too fast, so people are constantly moving in and out of the building. Water pressure also sucks.
